I woke up before my alarm did. I sat in my bed and thought about the dream I just had...

I was in the park, near the playground, sitting on a bench enjoying the fresh air. Suddenly, I feel a small hand poking my shoulder. I turn around and see a little girl. She had blonde hair, however, her face was blurry.
"Daddy, I'm hungry! Can we buy some ice-cream?" She asks me with her sweet voice.
"Sure honey!" I say as I stand up and hold her hand. "What flavor do you want?"
"I want a strawberry ice-cream!" She exclaims.
We go together to the ice-cream stand.
"One strawberry ice-cream, please". I tell the man.
"Sure sir! That'll be $2.40".
I pay the man and he gives me the sweet.
"There you go honey" I say as I give her the ice cream.
"Thank you dad! And thank you ice cream man!"
We laugh and walk together.
She then tells me.
"Daddy, I love you".
But before I could answer, I wake up.

I've been dreaming this for the last couple of weeks. It's the same situation, but the girl often changes. Sometimes she's 5 years old. Sometimes she's 8. And sometimes she's 13! I don't understand why am I dreaming this. Maybe I want to start a family? No, I don't think so. I'm not prepared to have a family. I barely can deal with 2 cats! Plus, I have no time to take care of a child. My schedule is always busy since I'm a producer. I always have meetings, interviews, parties, etc.

As I'm thinking about it, I feel Miss Nyancat cuddle by my side. I pet her and she purrs. I lay on the bed and hug her tightly.

"Hey cat, do you think I'm ready for parenthood?"

She purrs even more and moves her head. It looked like a nod. Wait, what?! An animal thinks I'm ready to have a kid?! Jesus fucking Christ Joel! It was just a simply nod, it didn't mean a yes. I'm just so stressed about this thing I can't think clearly. Sigh, I should probably go back to sleep. I still got 2 hours left of it.

I wake up to my cats licking my face. I smile at them, put them aside, and get ready. I take a quick shower and get dressed. I took my creeper t-shirt, some jeans and my green Puma shoes. I love this shoes so much! They're really comfortable.

While I walk downstairs, I check my phone. First, I check my mail. Mmm, nothing new. Just some shitty spam mail. Then, I check Twitter. Rude-ass comments from the haters. Meh, I don't give a fuck. Fangirls, FANGIRLS EVERYWHERE! And, some really nice comments from the crew (Skrillex, Zedd, my mom, etc.)

I grab a Meowingtons and Miss Nyancat's bowl and fill it with food. It should last, at least, till night. I also fill another bowl with water. I pet them, grab my stuff and get into the car. Just before I turn it on, Anton calls me.

"Hey dawg!" Anton says.

"Hey fuck-face! What's up?" I say.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we could eat breakfast together. Meet me at Tim Hortons?"

"Sure man. I'll be right there."

"Great! See ya!"

I hang up and start driving. I text my manager saying I'll be a little bit late to the studio. He asks me why. I tell him. He laughs and agrees (as long as I bring him something to eat, fuck).

After a couple of minutes, I arrive to Tim Hortons. I enter and see Anton immediately. I walk to the table and sit.

"Hey dude" I say.

"Hi, I just ordered some coffee and donuts. Is it okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, it's perfect man! Thanks for inviting me."

"No problem dawg. It's always a pleasure".

The drinks arrive and so does the food. I was drinking my coffee when I looked out the window. I saw a man and his kid walking down the street. I remembered my dream. Should I tell Anton about it? Maybe he can help me.

"Um, Anton. I really need your advice." I say nervously.

"Sure, what's wrong Joel?" He asks me worriedly.

"I've been having strange dreams." I say. "I dream about being... A father."

I look at him. He seems confused. Well, who wouldn't? Parenthood doesn't appeal to me very much. I'm sure he can't imagine me having a child.

After some minutes of silence, he speaks up.

"Dude, I think that's wonderful!" He exclaims. "Being a father is one of the best things in the world. Although it takes a lot of responsibility, it's worth it!"

I look at him surprised. "Wait, don't you think I'll be a terrible father?"

"Of course not! Why would I? You're mature enough to be a great dad. And, you're in the perfect age".

I smile and hug him. "Thanks man, thank you for supporting me."

He hugs me back. "We all support you Joel. If you decide to have a child, he/she would be so lucky to have you."
