Diana's POV
As I got up from bed I looked at the time reading 5:48. I walked over to my closet and got dressed in what I usually wore. Under armor shorts and a t-shirt, with my black adidas shoes. After getting dressed I waked downstairs. As I entered the kitchen I saw Gavin sitting at the table casually on his phone. Gavin, my brother. In most cases you see brothers and sister hate each other but that's not the case with us. Gavin's kinda like my dad, brother, best friend all in one. He's been like that since mom and dad died. He was only 18 at the time and I was 14. It's been rough but we're getting through it together.
"Morning." He said looking up from his phone and at me.
"Morning." I responded as I walked to the fridge to get orange juice.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, you?"
"Fine."
"Okay."
I poured myself some orange juice in a glass and put it back in the fridge. I grabbed my glass and sat up on the counter. As I sat there I studied Gavin, he was tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He had a sharp ass jaw line and he had many features from our dad. Unlike me I was short with brown hair with blonde tips. Grayish eyes and looked like my mom. Not gonna lie Gavin was very attractive. And well I have a little secret that only I know. That I've had a crush on Gavin since I was in 3rd grade. I know, I know sick right? But not for me. Gavin's been there through everything and still is here. I love him for that. Plus he's everything I could ask for. I realized that when mom and dad died. The hardest thing is living with him and not being able to tell him how I feel but it's gotten easier through the years.
"Hey I might go out tonight, I won't be out to late though."
"Okay... are you bringing another girl home?"
"No... okay maybe but I promise it won't be noisy like last time"
"Okay..." I wasn't happy that Gavin would go out and get drunk and bring girls home. It started after a few months after the accident with mom and dad. Ever since he's been like this.
"Oh and by the way, at 5 we're going over Kendall's and Josh's."
"Okay. I'm going up to my room. So call me down when we're getting ready to leave."
"Okay."
I walked upstairs to my room and just laid in bed watching t.v. After awhile Gavin called me down and said that we're leaving. I walked downstairs and outside to the car to see Gavin sitting inside. I opened the door and sat down.
"You need a new car..." I said.
"Your crazy, Gabbie runs perfect."
"Your weird."
"I know." Me and him both laughed and talked about some stuff on the ride there. Gavin's pick up truck was an old one. The one that had only one seat that could fit 3 people. And he wasn't lying it is pretty nice for an old car. When we reached their house we got out and walked to the front door. Gavin knocked and quickly Kendall opened the door.
"Hey guys." Kendall said giving me a hug and taking me by the hand and pulling me into her house with Gavin laughing and following after.
"We haven't seen each other in years!!!!" Kendall said.
"We saw each other yesterday..."
"That's so long ago." I just rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Okay, so we're gonna watch a movie then play truth or dare."
"So a repeat of what we do all the time?"
"Yes." I laughed. We all gathered on the couch when Josh got home from work and watched Man on Fire which was funny as hell. It was around 7 o'clock when we started playing truth or dare. We played for about 2 hours. Gavin was last to go and he was up next.
"Okay Gavin truth or dare?" Josh asked
"Hmmm. Dare." Gavin said.
Josh laughed and looked at me. "7 minuets in heaven with Diana." He laughed.
"What?!" I said standing up. "No, that's nasty."
"It's not like you have to do anything just in the closet for 7 minuets. Phone and watches are left out here we'll time it." Josh said.
I can't believe that I have to do this. In a tight space with Gavin... this isn't gonna be good.
"It's not that bad it's not like we have to do anything." Gavin said as Kendall laughed.
"Maybe you could." Kendall said.
"Your disgusting." I said.
"C'mon the sooner the better." Josh said.
"Fine... I cant believe I'm giving into peer pressure."
Gavin stood up and we went upstairs in the hall closet. It was very small which meant me and Gavin would be pushed against each other. As we got in the closet we stood there for a good 20 seconds before we said anything.
"So..."
"So..."
"You having a nice night so far?" Gavin asked.
"Your kidding me right?" We both laughed.
"It's not that bad." He said.
"Gavin were legit pushed up against each other."
"Yeah. So?"
"Your not uncomfortable?"
"I'm fine, are you?"
"I guess... it's just we're brother and sister and I don't think that if your brother and sister that you should be doing 7 minuets in heaven."
"It's not like we're doing anything. Unless you wanted to."
"What?"
"Nothing, nevermind."
Did he just, "Did you just say if I wanted to?"
"Yes, but it won't mean anything."
"Oh um..."
"We're brother and sister it won't mean anything anyways. We don't like each other like that."
"Yeah."
"So wanna kiss?"
"I mean... I guess we could."
"Okay..." he said placing his hands on my hips and pulling me into him.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah..." and with that he kissed me. It was gentle and sweet. I liked it... it's like we were meant for this moment. As we kissed he moved his hands from my hips to my ass. As we continued I felt that he had a boner. I thought he said this would mean anything! I mean I liked it... a lot but still. After us making out we heard foot steps coming upstairs and we broke apart.
"Okay 7 minuets are up!" Josh said as me and Gavin got out of the closet. "Hope you guys had fun." He laughed.
"We talked, that's all Josh. Plus we better be heading out it's late."
"Okay see you guys next week." Kendall said giving me and Gavin a hug. Me and Gavin hugged her back and then hugged Josh.
"Have fun on vacation." I said to them as me and Gavin walked downstairs.
"Thanks Boo, I'll call you tomorrow. Have a good night." Kendall said.
"You too Kendall."
Me and Gavin finally reached the car and got in. The whole way home we didn't say anything to each other. Once we got home we got out of the car and went inside. Gavin went right upstairs and into his room as I stayed downstairs and watched t.v. After and hour or so I walked upstairs to take a shower and go to bed. After my shower I went into my room and laid in bed. As I laid there I got a text from Gavin.
Hey, can we talk?
Sure, what's up?
No like in person. Come to my room.
Okay
I got out of bed and walked to Gavin's room. I knocked before entering to see him laying in bed.
"Hey, come sit." Gavin said patting the space next to him. I walked over and sat down.
"You okay?" I asked looking at him.
"Yeah." He said sitting up and turning so that he was now sitting in front of me.
"Then what's up?"
"I want to talk to you about something..."
"Yeah?"
"The kiss... did that mean anything to you?"
I was shocked. I didn't want him to know that it did... shit.
"No." I said.
"Oh..." he said with a dramatic change of facial expression.
"Why?" I asked. Curios to find why his facial expression changed.
"Because... it meant something to me." He said looking at me. I looked down at my lap I was speechless. This meant something to me and I knew it would but Gavin, that surprised me.
"What?" I questioned.
"Diana a brother doesn't get a boner over kissing their sister. It just doesn't happen."
"Gavin..."
"What?"
"The kiss... it meant something to me too."
"Wait but you said-"
"I know... I lied I didn't want to make things awkward between us if I said yes."
"Oh, so you enjoyed the kiss?"
"Yeah, a lot actually." I said looking at him.
"Can, can we do it again?" He asked.
"Yes..." I said and smiled at him.
He smiled back and leaned in as I did the same. As we started to kiss Gavin started to get on top of me as I laid down. We made out for a good 15- 20 minuets. After that we fell asleep together. When I woke up I was cuddled up to Gavin who was still sleeping. I smiled to myself and laid there a little before getting up and going to get dressed. When I came back into his room he was just waking up.
"Good morning." I said smiling and laying down next to him.
"Morning beautiful." He said kissing me on the forehead.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, did you?"
"Yeah."
"That's good." He said.
We laid there for a few minutes before he got up and started getting changed. I got up and walked downstairs and poured myself some orange juice like I normally do. I sat up on the counter just looking on my phone when Gavin came downstairs.
"Okay, after last night we need to talk..." he said coming over and standing in front of me.
"Okay." I said putting my phone down and looking at him.
"Okay, first off our feelings. Do you like me in that way? And if so for how long?"
"Yes and since 3rd grade." I spoke it out before I could stop myself... this was going so fast...
"Oh, wow..."
"Yeah, I know a long time."
"Yeah, but I've like you since 5th so it's not that bad."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah."
"Surprising." I said smiling. I'm glad he didn't think it was weird. I'm glad I can finally get this of my chest. I feel like a weight on my shoulders is gone. We talked for a little longer before he went out to the store. When he left I walked to my room and watched t.v till he got back. After about an hour I heard the front door opening indicating he was home. I got up from bed and walked downstairs. When I arrived downstairs I saw Gavin putting the groceries away. I just stood there watching.
"Yes?" He asked looking over towards me.
""Oh nothing I'm just watching." I said.
"Okay." He said putting the last item away.
"Yup." I said as he walked towards me. Once he reached me he grabbed my waist and pulled me into him. He kissed me softly moving his hands from my waist down to butt. He deepened the kiss
