I rolled over and looked at the clock 8:45. UGH!! Why am I up so early. I sat up in bed and looked out my window I could see into Scotty's room he was still asleep. dang he looks so cute curled up with his pillow. Summer what are you doing you cant think like that. I rolled out of bed and walked down stairs I found a note on the coffey pot. "Hey sweetie we went to Raleigh well be back around 6:30 have fun with Scotty (but not to much fun) call if you need anything." - Love mom. I grabbed a cup out of the cabinet and poured the last of the coffee in it. I took a sip off the coffee and headed back up stairs. I grabbed a pair of jeans and a blue and white chevron tankn top out of the closet. I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower When I got out I wrapped a towel around my body and grabbed the blow dryer and curlying wand from under the sink. I quickly dried my hair and put loose curls in. Once I finished I took a step back to get a good look. "man I did a good job" I said putting the the curlying wand back in the bucket under the sink. I gathered all the dirty laundry and put it in the hamper. When I got back in my room I noticed that Scotty wasnt in his room any more. I grabbed my phone off the night stand I turned on pandora. a message pooped on the scren I clicked on it was from Scotty. A smile appeared on my face when I saw it was from Scotty "Hey bring a swim suite were going to the lake later with some of my friends :)" I opened a text box "Don't you think it's a little to cold to go swimming its the middle of November. " not even a minute later my phone rang again. "Naa it'll be fine" "Ok whatever you say" I grabbed a bag from the bottom of the closet my camo bikini and a towel. Istuffed everything into the bag and walked down stairs. I walked into the kitchen to look for food as the door bell rang. I opened the door "Hey Scotty" "You ready to go?" I grabbed my bag and shut the door behind us. We walked to his truck he opened the door and helped me in. hHe rn to the other side and got in. "So Summer you hungary?" "I'm starving " "Good were going to my favorite place" After about 10 minutes we pulled ino Bojangles parking lot. He got and ran to my side opened my door and helped me out " thanks" "go get us a table and ill get our food" I walked over to a booth close to the door and sat down. Scotty sat down a try with a box of chicken and two cups of sweat tea. "You like sweat tea right?" "Eww no thats stuffs gross" I said with a completely straight face. He staired at me with a blank expression "Scotty chill I love sweat tea". He let out a little laugh. We finished eating got back in the truck after a while he pulled down a little back road. we pulled into a little park their were about 4 other cars. I looked over at scotty. "don't worry i'm not going to kill you" We got out and walked down a little hill. "where are we" Lake benson I told you we were going swimming" "Oh let me go get my bag then" I ran up to the truck and changed in the back seat i got my towel and phone out of my bag and walked back to wear I left Scotty. We walked down to the water "Scotty were over here" "Whos the hottie Scotty" one of his friends asked looking at me kinda creeping me out. "Dude cool it! Summer this is Will, Collin, Garret, and Gabi." "hey" I said with a little wave. "lets go swimmin!!! Collin yelled running towards the lake with Scotty, Will and Garret right behind him. Gabi and I layed our towles in the sun and layed down on them to tan. "come on girls its been an hour your tan enough." Scotty said standing over us. we dttod up Gabi walked down to the water. Me and Scottywalked down a little pier. I sat down at the edge of the pier Gabi and i were talking when all of a suden i was being lifted up i turned around to see Scotty holding me. "Put me down Scotty" "Ok" he said holding me over the edge. "Scotty noo my phone" I yelled as he let me go. As I surfaced I heard a splash. "Scotty im gonna kill you" I said as I pulled my Phone out of the waist band of my bathing suite. "oops my bad" he said laughing. After swimming for a couple we headed back to the the trucks. "Bye it was nice meeting y'all" "bye Summer well see you Monday at school right?" "yep" we got back into Scotty's truck "you ready to go home?" "acutally can we grab somthing to eat first please?" "sure what ya want?" "Bojangles again?" "how could I say no!" he yelled speeding away from the lake. We sat in the same booth from this morning. i took out my phone as i took another sip of my tea "I'm really sorry about that" he said sitting the cup back on the table. "its not even wet its water proof" i Said with a little laugh "good I felt really bad". "well you ready to head home?" "I guess so" We got back in the truck and headed home. We got out of the truck and walked up ot my front porch. "thanks for showing me around today I had a lot of fun do you wanna come watch a movie my parents arent home and wont be back for 2 more hours." "sure" we walked in the house "what do you want to watch?" "Do you have the rookie?" "yep" I put the movie and sat on the couch Scotty sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulders. I guess I fell a sleep during the movie because the next thimg i knew my parents were home. "Hey Summer were home did you have a good day?" "yea we had a great day we went swimming down at the lake then came back here and watched a movie." " well we have a surprise for you Scotty will you cover her eyes. no peeking!!" Scotty stood up behind me and covered my eyes with his hands. Scotty guided me out side "Mom whats going on" OK Summer open your eyes" I stood there with my mouth hung open stairing at what was right in front of me.
