Yukio's P.O.V.

I woke up with noises coming from the kitchen. I got up and grabbed my glasses. I put them on before making my way to the kitchen. I saw Rin at the stove, cooking something. He turned his head probably because he heard me walk over here.

"Morning, sleepy head." He said with a slight smile. Before turning his attention back to the stove. He was wearing a grey tank top and jeans. Are tank tops the only shirts he wears? I don't dislike it, it's his style.

"What are making?" I asked.

"Eggs and toast. I didn't have any bacon. I probably have to go the store today."

"What time is it?" I ask as I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"8:30."

"How long of you been awake?"

"Since seven. I was able to take a shower."

"What time did you go to bed?"

"What are you my mom? Why are asking all this questions?"

"I guess I'm still used to when you would has panic attacks a lot. And I haven't seen you in forever. Now answer me, when did you go to bed?"

"Some where around one in the morning."

"Rin..."

"Maybe two."

"Rin! You need proper sleep."

"I know, I know. But it's hard for me to sleep for so long, let alone just to fall asleep."

"Still, you need a full nights rest."

"What do you expect me to do? Shove a sleeping pill down my throat?" He said as he glared at me. Then he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't get mad at you. You're just worried about me. And I've gotten used to being on my own, without someone caring about me so much." He said as his bangs covered his eyes.

"It's okay. Whatever happened to you must have been hard." I said as walked to him and gave him a hug. He sighed before he turned off the stove and hugged me back. I pressed my cheek against the top of his head. And he hid his face in my chest.

"We should eat breakfast before it gets cold." He said as he pulled away.

"Alright."

"You can sit at the table. I'll bring the plates." I nodded before I sat at the table. It only had to chairs. He brought the plates of eggs and a slice of toast. He also put the tub of butter on the table, which was almost empty, and along with a butter knife. We talked as we ate breakfast, but we were cut off by yelling coming from upstairs. He wasn't lying about the yelling neighbors. He just looked at the ceiling with a raised eyebrow. Then he got up and went to his room. And he came back with his boot and walked to the living room/office. Once he was in a spot, he threw his boot at the ceiling.

"Okay fine, asshole!" I heard them shout back. I was a little surprised, but not really because people are probably still sleeping. And here they are yelling at each other. Rin came back to the kitchen and sat back in his seat.

"You do that every morning?" I asked after a few seconds.

"Not every. Sometimes I yell at them. And if we're very lucky, they won't yell at each other."

"Okay."

"I was thinking I'll go to the store after breakfast."

"I'll come with you."

"Why? It's just a store."

"You might need help carrying the groceries back."

"Alright."
