The truth (Loki and Avengers)

You! (Chapter 11)

Third person POV

          "I believe we have a deal." Hela stood next to Thanos.

"Then let us-" Thanos started but was interrupted by a scream. Squidward's scream. Making him drop Loki with a thud. Just as fast as Loki hit the ground, he got up just as fast.

"What the-" Tony began but was interrupted by Steve yelling.

"Loki! Stop!" Steve ordered but Loki didn't stop. "We need to go after him."

"Stop him!" Thanos ordered. Everyone sprung into action. Squidward was still lying on the ground, writhing in pain. (Serves you right)

          "That little-" Squidward moaned and used some very choice words to describe him. Thor flew above and landed in front of Loki.

          "Brother, stop!" Thor bellowed. Loki flinched back and hit the ground.

          "No. Please. I can't- I don't-" Loki stuttered. He glanced around, scanning the area for danger. His eyes were a pool of fear and dread. Loki tried to run but Thor grabbed him, by the arms.

          "Brother, look at me." Thor begged. By now, the avengers, the guardians, hela, Thanos and thanos' children had gathered around the scene but did not intervene. "I am here to help you and no one will hurt you again. I am here now and I will never leave your side." Thor's eyes had glazed over.

          Loki, however wasn't paying attention. Instead of listening to his brother's heartfelt speech, his eyes were met with eyes that had plagued his nightmares for years. His breathing hitched. "Brother-" Before Thor could ask a question, Loki passed out.

          "Get him to the quinjet!" Steve yelled. This pulled everyone from their thoughts. Heroes fought villains. Enemies battled enemies. Thor flew above the collision with an unconscious Loki draped over his shoulder. Thor landed inside the quinjet and set Loki's limp body down, careful not to cause anymore damage.

          "Brother." A voice spoke, from behind Thor.

          "Get away from him."Thor growled. Hela raised her hands in surrender.

"I am not here to hurt him. Merely to talk." Hela said.

"You sided with my enemy. That makes you my enemy." Thor hissed.

"I did not side with your enemy. I was merely trying to get our youngest brother to safety." Hela defended. Thor tilted his head like a confused puppy.

"You wanted to use him. To gain information from him." Thor accused.

"In the beginning, yes. But now no." Hela said. Just as Thor was going to say something the avengers ran into the quinjet.

"Ok! Everyone who can fly, go attack the creepy alien dudes!" Tony ordered, leaping off the ramp. Thor looked at Steve. They made eye contact and simultaneously knew what each other was thinking. Steve walked next to Thor and in between Loki and Hela. Thor leapt off the ramp and begun to fight the "alien dudes" as Tony likes to call them.

Beaten and tired, the rag-tag group of heroes sat in silence. The only sounds were the quinjet's engine and Loki's shallow breathes. Thor sat next to his brother, starring daggers at a wall. Hela had disappeared during the battle but not before promising to make something right. The rest of the heroes were feeling different emotions and scanning through their own memories. Some heroes were furious: Natasha, and Clint. Some were annoyed and somehow felt responsible for what happened to Loki: Steve, Tony, and Coulson. Others felt like they knew exactly how Loki felt: Rocket, and Nebula. And some felt all these emotions: Thor. But all the heroes had one thing in common: they all wanted to kick the purple grape's butt.

Yup. Mhmm. K. I know. It's been a while!! I have an awesome idea for the next chapter so that should be cool!

I also have decided that I'm going to make the chapters longer just to get the story going. Because I noticed that the battle trying to get Loki back took so many freaking chapters!!
