800 years ago during the void century, the people of the Ancient Kingdom planted a sacred tree deep underground in what they believed to be a pure and holy cave.
Over the years the tree grew. The tree was supposed to bare a powerful fruit but it never did until the Ancient Kingdom was already severely losing the war against the twenty kings.

The Ancients (as we will call them for now) saw that instead of a fruit, there was a baby hanging from the very center of the branches of the tree in a glowing, protective sac.
Desperate to keep this hidden from the twenty kings, the few Ancients left fled to a far away secluded island. They raised the child til it was old enough to walk but the child grew very slowly.
The Ancients were defeated by the twenty kings and the ones that fled with the child died of old age, just around the time she started to walk.
They named her Yui.
