Lonely Timog Avenue corner of Tomas Morato Avenue, there was a lively disco, named Ozone. Today is just an abandoned house. When night comes it becomes horrible and mysterious dead land. In darkness neighbors hear disco music sounds. Some of them look dances of shadowy apparitions with music. Their ghostly echoes wander in the heavy air. Cheers make them extremely frightful.
In 1991 when Segio Orgaoow opened Ozone Disco, never assumed its future. It attracted young couples and students that day. Definite place for enjoyment, time pass. It was 18 March 1996, almost 350 students gathered in night for their course celebration. In the midnight when everyone having fun, little fire sparkled for 3-4 times. At first it was thought as the DJ effect. But quickly fire broke in the whole disco. Panicked, helpless students started to run everywhere. This made situation worsen. Everyone was screaming, crying for help. Most pathetic is when many ran towards the exit door, guards thought there was a riot and locked the exit door instantly. 162 were died, Most of the scorched bodies found on the corridor towards the exit door. Whole country shocked in the next day seeing their scalded and melted bodies.
After some days many haunted rumors started coming out from the disco. People passing beside the lonely disco saw spooky figures watching them from broken windows. Whispering comes from the cursed house. In night they become triumphed in their enjoyment but in day they want to speak with human. Anyone in there feels presence of phantoms; they hear laughing, crying and an eerie sensation of the haunted atmosphere. Practically local people avoid walking beside the disco. Some crazy photographers captured ghost photos too.
This is not the end at all. People believed ghosts want the touch of their loved ones. A committee of justice for victims was set up. Heads of justice board Joseph Stephen Santos who loosed his cousin there and Josie Buenafe, a high school teacher. They were able to contact with spirits. Spirit of a boy, named "Ed" told them almost sixty spirits haunting there. He thanked them for coming there. He ghost urged to tell their loved ones not to forget them. They just want to say good bye their family. Also Ed requested for coming again in the anniversary day of accident.
Ozone disco ghost stories are fulfilled with such outnumbered paranormal incidents. The workers of the restaurant beside disco never stay in night. Some of them experienced more fearful incidents, they quit their jobs. Those researchers worked on the spirits in there say there are some ghosts there still now. They requested to their family members "please come once, tell them good bye, and let them go from this hell forever."
