Ryzel-Ann didn't consider herself pretty.
She didn't think anyone ever had a crush on her.
She most certainly didn't think she won the heart of three different boys.
All Ryzel-Ann knew was her quiet nerd life with her quiet nerd friends.
They weren't really quiet. They almost never were! But they were never heard because they're nerds and in their school, nerds are never heard.
So Ryzel-Ann was in the library with her friends in their usual table. You might say it's not theirs if their names aren't there so they wrote their initials on the table.
So there they sat at the table where the initials "MS" for Margaret Stevens, "EJ" for Ellia James, "TJ" for her brother, Thomas James, "AW" for Andrew Warren, "TP" for Tristan Porter, and "RAJ" for Ryzel-Ann Jameson sat uder the table in neat handwriting. They were looking at the results of their Math tests and comparing their grades.
"Ha!" Laughed Thomas, "I got higher than you Drew!"
"No fair! I should've gotten higher!" Complained Andrew.
"Will you two shut up?!" Ellia spat, obviously annoyed.
"You're just being a sore loser 'cuz both Andrew and I got higher than you." Thomas spat back at her
"I'm 99.99 percent sure you switched our tests when the teacher wasn't looking!"
"So there's a chance I didn't?"
Margaret, Andrew and Ryzel-Ann started laughing at their friends. Margaret noticed that Tristan wasn't laughing but instead, looking at Ryzel-Ann with a loving look in his eyes. She smirked at him. Looking away, she spotted John Allan, her cousin, with some guy she hasn't met before. She called the others and pointed to the mysterious guy with her step brother.
"Oh that's Mark Lee He's new. His dad and my mom are cousins." Andrew explained. "HELLO SECOND COUSIN!!!"
Mark heard Andrew and started walking towards them. When he got there, he was looking at Margaret and Ryzel-Ann in interest.
John also started walking towards them and saw Mark looking at Ryzel-Ann, his crush, and Margaret. He said to Mark "Dude that's my cousin," he pointed to Margaret and she waved at Mark, "And that's her best friend Ryzel-Ann, also my dream girl." (He whispered the last part to himself but everyone except Ryzel-Ann heard)and Ryzel-Ann smiled up at Mark shyly.
"I'm Mark."
The others (Andrew, Ellia, Margaret and Thomas) walked away awkwardly because Mark, John and Ryzel-Ann were ignoring them, Tristan stayed in his seat and glared at Mark at John.
How DARE they hit on Ryzel-Ann. Especially Mark. He just met her! I've known her longer. Tristan angrily thought to himself.
That was the start of the battle for Ryzel-Ann's heart.
