August 13th 2015...

He made the final marks to his most recent portrait. It resembled her perfectly with nothing missed out.

Pain. Love. Pain. Blood. Its Everything I Know I Gave A Life.

It had taken everything in him to complete it and at last he was done.

Cold Sweat. deep Breaths....

He put his pallet and brushes down and wiped away his tears.

If I Loose It All Then I Don't Want It Back...

Today was a day he had been dreading since the incident and just the thought that it was all happening now made him feel even guiltier than he had before.

I Don't Need It Back.

Her smile; the one thing he had wanted to see on her face the last time he saw her but that wasn't the case.

Where I'm From,

Her Laugh; It could brighten his day whatever the matter and it never failed to make him happy.

Won't Be Long

She was pure perfection to him and he doubted there was anyone else like her. So many people had told him that he would soon find someone else; someone who was just as good, but she could never be replaced.

'Till I'm Gone

She was his everything, and even though it was such a short space of time he had actually got to know her, there was no one who could even compare to her. It had only got as far as fiancé but now he wished they had had the chance to take it further. The chance for him to make her his wife, but their time was limited.

He picked up the canvas and took it to the room that had all of his other paintings. He had made a whole wall of just painting of her and their memories together and this one was just another addition to the many that were already there. It seemed to complete the collection but for him there was still one missing; one that he couldn't seem to work out what it was off or where it should go. They were all going towards his next body of work that would be put up in the exhibition.

He couldn't stop the tears from making their way down his face as he looked at all them many memories now surrounding him. It was all a mistake. Their relationship was never meant to end that way, but sadly that's just how it was meant to be. He looked at The Clock. It was 9:53. He had just over an hour to get ready so he found it best if he started now. He put away all of his painting equipment before going and getting into the shower.

He tightened his tie as he looked at himself in the mirror. He went and sat on his bed as he put his shoes on. Once his shoes were on he stood and took his suit jacket from the chair it was resting on and put it on, finishing his appearance. He knew this day was coming but he didn't expect it so soon. He put on his watch and grabbed his keys before heading out of the house. It was time to face the rest of the world.

"Do you think he'all turn up today," Lauren asked as she ran her hand through a sleeping Aaliyah's mane of curls.

"I really don't know, but I really hope he does... For Aaliyah's sake," Sherika responded before biting her lip. They watched as the 2 year old slept peacefully on the couch as everyone else got ready.

"I Know he will. He wouldn't miss it for the world," Lauren replied back hoping she was right.

And It Ain't Worth It, If I Don't Win...
