I feel as though from here on out the chapters get a lot longer. I had a spark of inspiration, so longer chapters happened.

Chapter 19:
*Monday
Brianna’s POV:
We didn’t do much yesterday besides stay in, order out, and watch movies. I was comfortable with not leaving because I got to spend the day with Nathan. It was total bliss because we just talked more before everybody came downstairs. It was a little weird because Marcus was still there. I thought he would’ve left since he barely knew anybody but I guess I was wrong. I’m happy to say that Marcus and the guys are now acquaintances, but the girls don’t seem to like him that much. I didn’t have much time to think of reasons why the girls didn’t like him because we had to get ready for rehearsal.
“Nath…Nathan…Get up, gotta get ready.” I said while poking him. “No, I don’t wanna go. I just wanna stay here and lay with you.” He groaned with a cheeky smile. I rolled off the couch to go get ready but he wouldn’t let go of my wrist. “Nathan, let go. I have to get ready and so do you.” I said with a smile. He continued to lay there holding my wrist until I said, “If you let go, you can come upstairs with me.” He shot up and we headed upstairs. “Hey, where’s he goin’?” Max asked from the bottom of the stairs. “Uh, I was just gonna help her pick out something to wear.” Nathan said slowly. Max shrugged his shoulders and continued to the kitchen.
Once we got to my room, I had to get in the shower, so I told Nathan to pick out something for me to wear. I wasn’t in the shower long because I knew Nathan would get bored and start snooping. I wrapped a towel around me and walked outta the bathroom. Nathan’s head shot up and started smiling. I don’t know what the smile was for so I just smiled back. “So, what’d you pick out?” He smiled cheekily and then held up black short shorts and then took his shirt off and gave it to me. “What are you gonna wear if I’m wearing your shirt?” He looked confused; I guess he didn’t think his plan through all the way. “Um, I don’t know. You have a shirt I can borrow?” He asked hopefully.
“Actually, I do.” I turned around to face my closet and once I opened the doors, he wrapped his arms around my waist and put his head on my shoulder. I started looking for a shirt and that’s when I realized that my brother’s shirts were in the bottom of my dresser drawer. Since Nathan wouldn’t let go, we walked over to my dresser, grabbed a “Just Do it” Nike shirt, and handed it to Nathan. He let go of me so that he could put the shirt on and then grabbed hold of me again. I started to laugh because of how persistent he was. I turned to face him so that we were centimeters apart. We were about to kiss until “We should be body to body” started to come from my phone. My new ringtone was really ironic in this situation. I didn’t wanna break apart from Nathan, but I had to. “Hey, the song says we should be body to body. Why don’t you listen to the phone?” Nathan said with a sad face.
I quickly grabbed my phone and ran back to Nathan, who then winked. I looked at the phone to see that it was Tom; I just let it ring because it probably wasn’t anything important. We stared into each other’s eyes until Nathan leaned in and kissed me. Every time we kissed, it felts like fireworks were going off and I didn’t want the moment to end, unfortunately it did. “Hey, we’re about to-” Jill said while opening the door. Nathan and I just looked at each other at the extreme awkwardness. “We’re about to what?” Nathan asked still holding me. “Um, we’re about to leave.” Jill said looking at the ground. “Ok, we’ll be down in a minute.” I said happily. When Jill left, I wasn’t sure if she was mad or sad because she looked sad but she slammed the door closed. Me and Nathan just looked at each other trying to figure out what just happened but we just laughed it off and then headed downstairs.
