Chapter 1- Season 3

Alexa's P.O.V

I sat next to Chuck and watched as Jenny flirted with Nate. It was honestly so pathetic and it was making me bored. "There better be someone hot at the party, or this is all a waste of time." Chuck turned to me and smirked, "You want Nate single, and this is the only way." He whispered to me. "I do, but Serena's my bestfriend and our stepsister basically, this isn't exactly the way I planned it." "Are you seriously getting soft?" "Shut up Charles." I took a drink of my Cosmo and watched Jenny and Nate talk. "She's pathetic." I say under my breath and I hear Chuck chuckle. "Are we almost there?" Jenny asks turning to me. "Be patient Little J." I say raising my head a little. She looks at me with disgust before turning to look out the window. It was no secret we hated each other, everyone knew it. Jenny was just one of the many that hated me, I mean what's a Bass without a few haters. Just being Chuck Bass' twin made people hate me. And just like a Bass, I didn't care. The car stopped and i looked out to see the place crawling with normal class people. "Tonight should be interesting." I say before pushing my way out of the limo and into the lights. As I walk in, many people recognize me and almost instantly im getting crowded by people talking and asking questions. I look over and see Blair helplessly looking around for someone to talk to. She catches my eye and i see her take a breath of relief as she walks over to me. "I've never been so happy to see you." she says throwing her arms around me. "What are you doing here?" "I came here with Humphrey, i needed to find a regular guy who didnt think i was off limits because of Chuck." "Ah, and you're really going to settle with a middle class guy from Brooklyn?" I ask raising an eyebrow. "I need to start somewhere right?" She says looking helpless. "This is not the Blair Waldorf i know, what has my brother done to you?" I ask laughing and pulling a drink from one of the waiters. He looks at me weirdly and i return the look, and watch as he scampers off. A tall boy walks up to Blair and instantly she's flirting with him. "Good luck." I say before i leave and walk around to find someone interesting. Jenny and Nate were taking shots after shots and getting drunker by the minute. Man, was Nate dumb. After a few drinks i looked around and realized it was getting a bit blurry. I watched Jenny and Nate walk off a bit tipsy, and i looked around for Chuck. He was in the corner with the same look he always had when Blair and him had gotten into an argument, and she had told him off. Although he never admitted it, she was the only one who could tell him off, or even remotely hurt him. Besides me of course. I honestly think Blair and I were the only things he cared about. I walked over to him and put my arm around his waist and hugged him. He hugged me back and whispered, "lets go, this party is boring." As we headed back to the limo my phone buzzed and i looked down to see a text from Serena.

- Are you with Nate?-

-Nope, him and Jenny just walked off, they might have gone back to his apartment.-

-ok..thanks.-

I clicked off my phone and got into the limo. "Plan may be complete, and I feel like a terrible friend." I say and Chuck looks at me and smiles. "Don't worry you have time to comfort her after." "Whatever." I say and doze off.
