Sidney P.O.V.
My name is Sidney. I am 16 years old, turning 17 in October.
I live in Virginia. I'm an only child so I just live with my parents. My parents are not a happy couple. The only thing they do is fight and argue. They usually fight for no reason. I grew up listening to their fighting and yelling.
I had friends in high school but since I graduated, I don't talk to them anymore.
I love my parents but I can't take it with all of their arguing.
For the past few years I've been working for 3 jobs. I've never spent any of that money.
Today I was on my laptop searching for plane flights from Virginia to L.A, California. I found one on Friday at 8:00 a.m.
After that, I searched for a small apartment.
When I finished all of that, I started to pack.
I was going to pack my things in 2 large suitcases and a backpack. I only packed the newest clothes and shoes.
Then I was done packing.
Now I just needed to wait until Friday.
*Time skip to Friday (2 days later)*
I woke up at 5:30 a.m.
I started to getting changed. I had to be really quiet so my parents don't wake up. They didn't know that I was leaving them and never seeing them again.
After I got changed, I got my stuff and quietly went downstairs.
I got to the door and opened. I left the house.
When I was outside, I called an Uber to pick me up. It was coming in 6 minutes.
Then the Uber got here and I got into it.
After I got in, we drove off to the airport.
I was never going to see my parents ever again.
