A Journey Through Our Lives

Chapter 16

Tomorrow is the day the boys leave for tour and everyone was having a party. There's food, drinks, balloons, and a HUGE cake that said 'Have Fun On Tour!'

When all the food was gone and the party was over, Zach slept at Kayla's house, Michael slept at Amanda's house, Cameron slept at Megan's house, and, even though he wasn't going on tour, Vic slept at Elizabeth's house. They hit it off really well. They both had A LOT in common with each other. 

"Our first concert is kind of far away, but our second show is like two or three hours away from here. Could you  girls come to that one?" Zach asked before they all left.

"Of course," Megan said. "I could drive us all there."

"All the guys agreed on buying their girlfriend's ticket and VIP pass." Cameron said.

"Aww, thanks guys!" Amanda happily exclaimed.

They told them how to get to the venue and that they can't wait for them to come. Everyone left Megan's house except for Cameron. All night long they just layed down and talked to each other.

"You should get some sleep," Megan told him. "You've got a huge day ahead of you."

"You're right," Cameron said giving her a kiss goodnight.

Megan turned over to her other side and Cameron put his arm around her waist. Megan held onto his hand for the rest of the night. A tear rolled down her cheek both for happiness and total sadness.

They woke up the next morning at five. They called the other girls' houses to make sure everyone's up. The boys brought each of the girls to their houses'. They called Elizabeth and Vic at eight. An hour before they were ready to leave.

Everyone showed up at Cameron's house this time with all their luggage.

"The bus should be here in about 45 minutes," Zach said to everyone.

"Before we leave," Cameron started, "Me, Mikey, and Zach each got something for you girls."

They led the three girls to the couch and they sat down. Elizabeth and Vic sat on the closest chairs to watch. The other boys went through their luggage and got the gifts.  The girls unwrapped the little boxes. The girls were in awe when they saw the necklaces they each got. They each got half a heart with 'LO' written in cursive. The 'O' went off the half heart and the boys pulled out their necklaces from under the collar of their shirts. The necklaces fit together perfectly.

"Now you'll always have a piece of us with you," Michael said to them. The girls gave them a hug and kiss.

When they heard the bus honk outside they went out and said goodbye. They were all crying a bit. Even the boys couldn't stop their tears from coming out.

The boys took off and the girls and Vic went inside. "At least we'll see them in three days," Megan said smiling but still in tears.

They patiently waited for the day to come. It seemed like ages until it finally did.

The girls and Vic woke up that morning. They all stayed at Megan's house that night so they could leave as soon as possible. They got dressed, got in the car, and took off. They listened to the radio and sang the whole way. Amanda was sitting in the front and Kayla, Elizabeth and Vic were in the back. They were all excited to see the boys perform. It's been so long since they did!

They arrived at the venue and to their surprise, they saw the boys standing at the door. They all hugged and went in.

"We already payed," Cameron said.

"Wow, full house?" Megan asked.

"Yeah! It's so amazing!" Michael exclaimed.

The crowd screamed when they saw the boys walking down the isle.

"You guys get those empty seats there," Zach said, pointing to the seats in the front row below the middle of the stage.

The girls and Vic smiled and went to go sit down.

The show started.

They were singing All The Way. They got through six songs when Cameron whispered to the boys and they got the venue to stop screaming.

Cameron started speaking into the mic, "alright, as you guys may or may not know, we all have wonderful girlfriends."

The crown cheered.

"I was lucky enough to meet Megan at a concert a while ago. Since then, I knew we were going to be together forever..." He stopped for a second. "Megan, could you come on stage please?" Megan was tearing up and was helped on stage by a smiling bodyguard.

"Megan," he began. He got down on one knee and Megan cupped her hands to her mouth and tears came streaming down her face.

"Will you marry me?" He asked.

The crowd screamed louder than ever.

Megan still was silent.

Cameron held the mic out for her to take.She took it and said, "yes," while still in tears and smiling a huge smile. Cameron stood up, hugged her, and spun her around. He put the beautiful ring on her finger. He hugged her again and the fans were going crazy. Megan got a hug from Michael and Zach. She then got hugs from Dillon and Brent who were also on stage.

"I love you, Megan!" Cameron said into the mic while leading her down to her seat. He helped her off stage and she sat down. She got a mob of hugs from the girls and Vic.

After the concert was over, she got hugs from random fans as well.

They met up with the boys after the concert and the meet and greet and the boys gave the girls hugs and kisses.

"I love you so much, Cam," Megan said while giving him a hug.

"I really love you too, Meg," he said while hugging her.

He kissed her on the cheek and said, "you're finally my beautiful fiance."

They both smiled and kissed on the lips.

When the boys had to go, they all said bye.

Vic drove them home because Megan was still really shaky.

She couldn't wait to get married to the guy of her dreams.
