Just some plot holes that I've noticed while watching TVD and TO. I love both these shows with all my heart, but like most supernatural shows, there are many mistakes made.
Warning: there will be spoilers for both shows.
This is, in my opinion, the biggest plot hole in all of The Vampire Diaries:
So you guys all remember when Bonnie gave Stefan the cure and he became a human right?

Well a large portion of one of the following episodes centered around all the people who Stefan had compelled remembering why they had seen and what happened to them.
Because Stefan had taken the cure, everyone he had ever compelled now remembered everything.
Now let's take a trip down memory lane and remember who else took the cure.
1.) Katherine

Katherine has compelled so many people in the series. Remember when she had an entire town compelled in season 4? Why didn't we see any of them remembering anything?
2.) Silas

Remember when Silas slit Bonnie's dad'a throat in front of the entire town square of Mystic Falls, but compelled them all not to care and forget what happened?! Mystic Falls should have been going crazy after Silas took the cure. Everyone in the town would have been remembering seeing their Mayor killed in front of them.
3.) Elena

We have seen Elena compelling so many different people throughout this series yet we didn't see anyone remember what she had compelled them to forget after she took the cure.
ALSO
Though Alaric never took the cure, he did turn from vampire to human without dying, just like you would when taking so cure sooo....

Shouldn't Elena have remembered everything Alaric had compelled her to forget?
