New neighbour

My pov

Today was holiday and I planned to sleep all day because I don't want to do any work at all. I hugged my teddy bear and slept. When I woke up my mom was calling my name all over again. "Why are you calling me?" I yelled still in my sleep.
" I have baked some cookies. Go and give it to the new neighbour." My mom yelled at me.
" mom send brother. I want to sleep. I haven't slept long in a while." I said waking up slowly.
My mom yelled again, " Your brother went to trip with his friends so you go and get the new neighbour. Araseo."
Aishhh I murmured. I answered her saying " Ne araseo."

I fresh up and dressed in one of my favourite black Pant  and white hook stripped crop-T. I went and had some snacks. Unlike school hours I let my hair down to my shoulder and put the cookies in one of the gift basket. I was about to leave when my mom called me and said " Say hello to the new neighbour and tell that no need to feel lonely and can always come and visit to have a talk. And also tell them that they can come over to our house whenever they are free."

I heard everything so I replied saying "No need to worry I will tell everything." So I went out and saw the name on the small board. It read Mrs kim. I pressed the door bell. No answer I waited again. I pressed the door bell for second time.

There was no answer again. This is the third time in pressed the door bell. After sometime I saw an a woman in 40s opened the door. She looked quiet old unlike my mom. She studied me for a while then asked " young lady what brings you here? I answered " we stay here" I pointed to my house. " Ajumma we are neighbours so here is a small gift. My mom baked some cookies for your family and you can come over to our house and talk whenever you are free. " I told what my mom said to me.

Ajumma hugged me saying "Thank you so much for the gift and beautiful getting from young lady like you. Come inside we can have talk while having a tea. " I walked inside. I was seated in couch. Ajumma brought tea and we have a long talk and sometimes we even cracked joke and laughed out loud. " Mom can you stop laughing it's disturbing my sleep. " a boy came in sitting room with his half shirts and pants on.

"Yah yah come here I will introduce to our neighbour who is kind to give us this cookies as a greeting. " I didn't look at him as he seemed so demanded. He took the seat and his mother introduced me to him. "She is Y/N. She studies in Seoul high school. Aren't you two in same class. Both of you seems of same age. " and then I turned to look at him. It was Taehyung. My heart was about to burst. Taehyung seemed shocked as well.

He didn't say a word and left me and his mom. Since I have to help my mom so bid goodbye to Ajumma. She hugged and said "You can come here on weekends and have a talk. "
I nodded my head and walk out feeling the sir strike my face.
