As I sat there in the dark night
under the stars.
I could feel ghosts and ghouls
raging inside me.
I could hear them screaming
and roaring and tearing me apart
as I just sat there feeling the pain.
But still wearing a smile.
Holding back the tears,
all I said was,
I am "fine".
