Prolouge

One day a Saiyan warrior caught on to Frieza’s plan to eradicate his whole race. The warrior named Bardock tried to warn his people, but most simply wrote him off as a mad man. His wife was the only one who would listen to him. He planned on attempting to take down Frieza by himself.

“Gine, I'll be honest with you. I doubt I'll be able to stand up to Frieza. So I want you to send Goku off planet. I've already told Raditz that he was ordered to do scout work on some weaker planets. If you have the time, you should leave as well.” Bardock said in a serious tone as he tightened his headband, prepared to meet whatever fate lay ahead of him.

“Bardock, you can't go getting yourself killed. Think about your family!” pleased Gine with tears flowing from her eyes as she ran up and grabbed Bardock.

“If I do manage to succeed, even if at the cost of my life, then at least everyone else will survive. If I were to fail however, it wouldn't really matter if I fought him or not. So, all I can really do is try.” Bardock flew off almost immediately after saying this.

Gine tried her hardest to fight back her tears as she went and prepared a pod for her youngest son, Kakarot. Although she tried as hard as she could, her tears still flowed quickly down her face as she put Kakarot into his pod. She said her goodbyes as the pod flew off towards a weak planet, planet Earth.

“Lord Frieza. It appears one of those saiyans is charging up here.” reported Zarbon.

“Let the soldiers take care of that nuisance” responded Frieza.

As soon as Frieza gave word, thousands of soldiers flew down to deal with Bardock. Bardock may have been greatly outnumbered, but he wasn't outclassed. Not a single one of these soldiers were able to catch Bardock as he flew around them, slowly making his way towards Frieza.

“Maybe this one isn't as pathetic as I thought. Perhaps he'll give me a good fight.” said Frieza as he exited his ship smirking.

“Soldiers, fall back immediately” ordered Frieza as Bardock was now less than 30 feet away from him.

“Are you ready Frieza!?” shouted Bardock as he began charging his ki intensely.

Frieza turned on his scouter as he watched Bardock power up.

“Oh, a power level of 13,000. (He thought to himself) He's certainly stronger than most Saiyans but he won't be able to give me a chal-.”

As Frieza was thinking Bardock attempted to catch him off guard. As Bardock’s fist went to connect with Frieza's face Frieza held up his index finger and fired a beam of ki through Bardock’s stomach.

“Is that all you got?” asked Frieza mockingly as Bardock began bleeding out.

Frieza began laughing at the pathetic display of Saiyan might before him. As he was laughing a beam of ki hit him in the back of his head. Despite the fact that it was a clean hit, all it did was anger Frieza.

“GINE, WHAT THE HELL!? I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE!?” screamed Bardock.

“I couldn't just leave you. I know I won't really be of any help to you, but at least I can try to” replied Gine.

“How sweet. You two can die together” Frieza said whilst laughing about how out matched the two saiyans were.

“Gine. Let's give this our all.” Bardock said as he slowly stood back up holding his stomach. His vision was blurry and balance fading away as death approached.

The couple smile at each other as they both rushed Frieza in unison. Despite having him outnumbered, the Saiyans couldn't even scratch Frieza. Frieza disposed of them quickly before tossing their corpses out into space towards planet Vegeta.

“The time is upon us” Frieza said while smirking as he fired a Death Ball at planet Vegeta.

The Death Ball approaching appeared in the sky of planet Vegeta as a giant comet. The ball of fiery death and destruction swallowed the corpses of Bardock and Gine before entering the atmosphere. The Saiyans stopped what they were doing as they noticed this large object on their atmosphere and approaching the planet itself. Almost the instant they noticed it, the Death Ball had collided with the surface and vaporized the whole planet.

[Meanwhile on Earth]

An old man was outside wandering around his small island. As he was looking out at the sea he noticed an object falling from the sky. This mysterious object crashed about 57 feet away from the shore of his island.

“Heh. What could that be?” asked the old man as he swam out to see what it was.

As the old man got closer he realized it was a pod of sorts. He pried it open to find a baby boy asleep inside. He took the baby into his arm and swam back to his island.
