Jade's POV it was another lonely night. It was currently raining and I had been listening to "The Truth Untold" for an hour. I had currently been looking for a job, but nobody seemed interested in me, it seemed like all hope was lost until my phone started ringing. "Hello" I said. The line was silent for a few seconds and I was about to hang up but then I heard a voice. "Hello, is this Jade" a female voice spoke. "Y-Yes it is" I spoke, I was honestly confused. Who was this and why was she calling me? "Congratulations" she said "you have been accepted, you can start working on Monday". What did she mean by "accepted", oh wait this has to be one of the jobs I applied too. "Um okay, who is this again" I said. "Oh yes, this is the job you requested for to become an assistant" she stated. Honestly I never remembered applying for this job, but yet again I have short term memory loss smh. I got the rest of the information and ended the call. Was I really gonna have a job tommorow? Will I like the people? all these questions and no answers, all of this was overwhelming so I decided to go to sleep.
Eight hours later ~
Jades POV It was the morning and I wasn't excited at all. I went downstairs and ate breakfast and rushed up the stairs to get ready. After an hour and a half I look somewhat professional. I grabbed my car keys are rushed out the door.
One hour later ~
Jades POV I finally made it. The building I was gonna be working in was huge. As I was admiring the view a man caught my eye. He looked expensive (expensive girl who?), a tall man with jet black hair, he looked like he practically owned the place. I must've been drooling he was b-beautiful, he turned around and we made eye contact I looked away hoping he wouldn't know that i was staring I quickly ran into the building to the front desk. "Hello, how may I help you" she said. Her voice sounded familiar she must've been the one who called me. "I'm here to start my first day" I said. "Okay, you may sit down Mr Jeon will be here shortly" she said. I sat down and thought who is Mr Jeon and a few minutes later I was called back to the front desk.
"Mr Jeon will see you now"
