"damnit." i mumble under my breath. Why won't it just clip and not make things difficult?
"forget it." i drop the bracelet looking up into the mirror at my reflection. I had my make-up done and my hair straightened. i had to admit for Shy doing it, it actually looks really nice. its my birthday. i see my smile appear in my reflection. I'm leaving for london in a few days and I'm so excited.
"hey hun, you ready?" i hear my moms voice coming through my door.
"yeah, ill be out in a minute." i stand straight up looking at my reflection one last time before grabbing my hoodie and phone walking out of my room.
"Oh you look amazing." Luna says smiling at me with Shy standing next to her looking well past satisfied with her job.
"Thank you." i smile at her. We are headed to Applebees for my birthday dinner.
"Hey mom, ill drive us girls. We will meet you there." i tell my mom giving her a kiss on the cheek before leaving the house with Shy and Luna.
"Starbucks baby!" Shy yells from the backseat as we pull into a parking spot and walk into the building.
"hey you guys order for me I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick." i tell them walking away towards the bathroom. i turn the corner and hit something or more like someone.
"shiz, I'm so sorr- oh hey." i say looking up at the person.
"always the bathrooms huh?" Mac says smiling down at me.
"apparently." really? are you serious?
"So what have you been up to?" he asks looking at me.
"Oh nothing much, me and the girls are just getting Starbucks then are heading to my birthday dinner."
"really? Happy birthday!" i look down smiling and look back up at him.
"Thank you." i say quietly. why all the sudden am i acting shy?
"your welcome. Oh i was gonna text you but since i have you here i was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" Mac said becoming incredibly shy as he blushed slightly. aww thats so cute. atleast I'm not the only one shy at the moment.
"Id love to." i say looking at him. he looks back at me with a surprised look on his face.
"really? wow okay. when are you free?"
"yeah, how about tomorrow? around lunch?" hes asking me on a date.... why am i doing a mini happy dance inside my head right about now?
"perfect. text me tomorrow. we will go anywhere you want to go." he said sending me a big smile before leaving giving me one last glance.
"i will." i smile back at him. lunch tomorrow with Mac.. SCORE!
"Um... excuse me miss but are you okay?" i hear a voice ask from behind me. i slowly turn around with my hands above my head. i quickly drop them.
"yes I'm fine thank you." i say politely sending the elderly women a small smile before walking back over to Shy and Luna who already had our drinks.
"Mac was here." Shy said taking a sip from her Starbucks drink.
"i know." i say simply grabbing my drink starting to walk towards the exit with the girls following.
"What happened?" Luna asked as soon as we exited the building.
"lets just say tomorrow afternoon I'm going on a date." i smile at the ground.
"OMG! with who?" ....really shy?
"Ian Somerhalder." i say unlocking the door when i hear Shy gasp.
"....What?! When?! How?! What. The. Actual. Fudge?!" She starts panicking... yeah i went there..
"Shy! she was joking!" Luna tells her laughing. fricken blondes man, i swear.
"I knew it! damn teenagers these days." she says whispering the last part. well then.. I'm going on a date with Mac, its my birthday, and i will be leaving for Paris in two weeks.. Yes! life is good.
¤° Twenty Minutes Later °¤
"Oh my... its gorgeous! thank you!" i say excitedly hugging my mom as i stare down at a beautiful diamond necklace she gave to me.
"your welcome hun." she says smiling at me.
"So mom... how do you feel that all your kids are above the age of eighteen?" Jason asks our mother smiling down at his food.
"Jason Zachary... dont make me feel older then i need to right now." this is my family people.
"Oh its okay mom. You'll always be young at heart." Courtney tells hers patting her back. Again people..... This. Is. My. Family.
