Chapter Thirteen - I Missed You

I woke up on a bed that wasn't mine. Alex was right behind me. Oh yea. I almost forgot that we spent the night at Jesse's house. Well everyone did. I got up and went to get my phone. It was still turned off but I turned it back on. I went back to the bed and sat on the edge.

I unlocked my screen and went straight to my messages. I touched the conversation with me and my mom.

I was kind of nervous to see her reaction but this wasn't something I should be nervous about. My mom knew that I'm gonna always be smart in school and do best in life. I do go out with my friends but it's usually a go over each others house type of out. We aren't sluts. NOOO. Even though I'm a virgin unlike Nikki and Court. They did it with the guys they are with now. I'm not an alcoholic but I drink like one when I'm somewhere like a party but only when it's appropriate to do that.  I haven't smoke marijuana since I was a freshman. It was stupid but I'm never doing it ever again. I'm a good girl. A nerd. Everyone makes mistakes. Alex is a bad boy but he isn't with me. He wouldn't do that to me. I know. I have a perfect life. I don't need to smoke and drink and party every weekend and run off screwing guys I don't even know. I like being in with my two best friends and the boys. We been close since pre school. It's a perfect like for me.

"Hey mom. "

"Riley! I knew it! My baby is now growing up. How? When?! Oh Riley.  Alex is the one. How didn't I see this coming?? I'm so happy! You know what? I'm taking you and Alex out to eat. Once I'm back be ready. You guys didn-" She got cut off once I spoke up.

"Mom. Yes I know you're happy but breathe. We will talk more once you get home okay? And No! We didn't. Alex wouldn't do that to me untill we feel like we can. Right now isn't the time though. Just please chill mom." I was almost out of breath talking that fast.

"Okay love. My baby has a boyfriend!" she happily said loud enough to hear through the phone. Hopefully Alex wasn't awake and heard that.

"Omg mom! Hey I got to go to the bathroom talk to you later bye." I hung up once I finished. My mom is nuts. I got up and went to the bathroom. I came back and looked at my phone for a few seconds that felt like hours.

"Goodmorning beautiful. You're mom is pretty happy about the news huh?" Alex said.

"Yes." I felt a litle embarrassed.

"Well that's good." I nodded and went into the bed and cuddled up with him. I gave him a goodmorning kiss. I pulled away covering my mouth.

"What?" he looked puzzled.

"My morning breath." I quietly answered.

"Aww I love your morning kisses babe so come here." he pulled my hands away and pulled me closer. We were back at the kissy kissy moment. I started having butterflies when we kissed. It was around 10 and we got up and went to the living room. Everyone was there except Nicole.

"Goodmorning babes." Nicole walked towards me from the kitchen.

"Morning." I smiled at her. We did our goodmorning conversation and then I saw that Court was sleeping on James. She probably got some last night. Or was it Nicole? Me and Nicole walked back to the room I slept in to get my bag while everyone chilled in the living room.
