Dear Diary...
*Flashback*
It's so lonely here, not like I've never been lonely. But.. I have no one to talk to. Who wouldn't know about the freak of the college department? Only new students. I have no idea on what to do. I just had math, and.. it wasn't that hard. Why does people think math is hard? I mean, we are talking about algebra, which consists of letters and substituting and-
I tripped. On a leg. Of course. But wait.. I have water! Oh no..
The water spilled on a person's face. I fell down, head-first. I look up. Oh geez, the person's face is wet, as in REALLY WET. But.. she didn't look angry. She had a worried look on her face.
"Oh no! Are you okay?!" the girl asked, holding out her hand.
"Argh.. I-I'm fine," I said, ignoring the hand, trying to get myself up, but I failed. People were smirking. They looked like they are about to laugh.
"D-do you need help..?" the girl asked.
I didn't say anything. I just got up.
"I.. I'm sorry.. I won't do it again.."
I turned to walk away, but the girl grabbed my arm, catching me off guard. I shivered.
"No.. I'm sorry," she said.
"No, I'm the one that's sorry. I tripped.." I said.
"Uhm.. this is the wrong place to be talking," she said, looking around.
"...."
She grabbed her tray, which thankfully, was on an occupied table, and held her tray with one hand. Using the other hand, she grabbed my arm, which sent shivers throughout my body. She had an iron grip, and almost dragged me to an empty table. Oh wait.. I have no tray. No lunch. Oops.
"You're not eating?" the girl asked, placing her tray down on the table, disturbing my thoughts.
"...."
Both of us sat down. It was so awkward.
"Oh, ok. I didn't introduce myself formally, I'm Nicky. How about you?" she asked.
"I.. uhh.. well.." I stammered, making Nicky giggle.
"Don't worry. Take your time," Nicky said.
"I.. well.. I'm Jayne.. nice t-to meet you.." I said.
"Woah.. you stammer a lot," Nicky said under her breath, but audible enough for me to hear.
"So.. are.. you okay?" Nicky asked.
"I.. well.. I'm fine," I said.
"Oh, okay. Anyway, what is your next class?" she asked.
"Uhm.. history," I said.
"We're not in the same class, too bad," she said.
"Yeah," I said.
"You new here, Nicky?"
"Well, no. I've been here for 2 years," she said, staring at me.
Our eyes locked. Woah, are those emerald eyes? Wow, this is.. embarrassing. I try not to show emotion. But.. what are all these new emotions? I don't get it. I don't feel like this for anyone, ever since..
Never mind. We are still staring at each other. Woah, Nicky is pretty. Looks like she has squishy cheeks. She has a bubbly personality. She is quite positive, and somehow, I like that. She is actually cute.. And.. AH NO WAIT THIS IS NOT ME!!
"You okay? Did you space out there?" Nicky asked, waving a hand in front of me.
"I.. uh.. yes.. I-I mean.. well.." I stammered.
"Woah, you don't do social contact, huh.." she said.
"I'll try to be as calm with you as I can!" she said, which makes me have the urge to smile. But I didn't.
"Okay," was all I said.
"Wanna hang out tomorrow?" she asked.
"Yeah, sure," I replied.
"See you after class, Jayne!" she said.
"See you.." I said.
*back to present*
You know what, diary?
I think I made a friend.
From,
JayneA/N: Wow, I actually had the courage to write this book! ^_^ Anyway, this is my new book! I hope you like it! By the way, the cover is drawn by me! Yay, a cover by me! And my writing skills are terrible, so watch out for that. There would be.. other messages in the book as well.
Also, the story will be only in Jayne's perspective, so.. yeah. I hope you won't get too tired of her thoughts! See ya later, fellow readers and weirdos!
