Ch. 3 Isolated Black Scorpion

As far as we traveled an empty road, we encounter some spirit monster that grandma defeated it so easily like a piece of cake, grandma teached me to have a strong courage to fight and what is not a must, we came up to an isolated desert and it is also known as the great valley of the two giants, it is referring as the boundary of Ashfall and Battleon empire,  I felt a strong essence of a beast, grandma felt the same way and she can determine the beast essence, essence level is high decades spirit beast type isolated black scorpion, isolated black scorpion is a lone scorpion traveling around in an isolated desert to find spirit monsters as their prey, according to the book of the beast this particular beast has a very high chance becoming one of the most dangerous creature in the entire valley of a desert, known as "Sand Kings" they can manipulate sand and using their stings as a weapon, due to a high speed of the scorpion sting, grandma took a minor injury that slowly paralyzes her and it takes more than ten minutes to injure the black scorpion using her 2nd spirit ability "Rage of an Elite Demon Sword"  that took the beast still unconscious, after she took care of the beast grandma hurriedly crossed legs and hand touched for meditation for recovering her strengths, I wonder grandma didn't still slay the beast, maybe she reached the peak of spirit specialist level where she can take her 3rd spirit ability.

I ask grandma why she still not absorbing the beast spirit ability as her new one, after what happened grandma said something that scared me a lot.

"Zeal, you're a spirit trainee right? do u have your first spirit ability yet?" she ask

"Not yet, but grandma the beast is so intense enough for me to become my first spirit ability" I quickly replied, that grandma makes a worry face and stayed silence for a while.

"Grandma, maybe I'm gonna absorb it if you can teach me.." I also replied that makes her feel better and happy.

"Zeal I'm not forcing you to absorb it, but the thing is, it's also important for you since you're already a spirit trainee and it is such a rare event having a high decade spirit beast as your first spirit ability".

I agreed to what grandma said, in this situation this scorpion is my very first spirit ability that also protect me in my own in the future and since I'm a Spirit trainee, she taught me to absorb the beast, just simply merges my soul origin and the spirit beast essence, by absorbin't my body feel so hot like I'm in a boiling pot of oil, it is similar when father soaked me in a boiling water, this is my very first ability so I must endure it, suddenly I found myself standing at the center of an empty space, then I figured that this is inside my consciousness or my soul essence, an isolated black scorpion appeared before me and turned into a human form, he sincerely bow in front of me and said...

" Master this empty space called Voidal Zone, here you can speak to your beast essences when you're unconscious or when you're in a deep slumber, I the Isolated Black Scorpion willingly to give my spirit ability that suits my master" after I heard those words, my surroundings turned black and back to my conscience.

I opened my eye and I finally felt grandma's warm hands, worried that there is might be something bad happened to me.

"Grandma I'm alright, I got my 1st spirit ability known as 'Rapid Sting Eye', using my energy force I can see all the possible movements in a single blink of an eye" I said, this ability maybe useful to predict enemy movements and using it before launching my dagger for an instance in my enemy's direction.

"Thank goodness Zeal, it's been two and a half hours your when you're awake, I thought you can't endure the scorpion it keeps me worrying up till now" grandma replied, after I've got my first ability we've finally reach Ashfall Empire, we head to the city academy and grandma talked to the School Dean named Con Lore to take good care of me, since grandma is going back to Battleon Empire.
