The Parrot and her Child

  

There lives a parrot and her baby in a tall oak tree. Every day she goes far in the distance to collect to feed her child. It's very difficult for her to collect food as many dominent birds comes to to food in that place. Some times, she goes back without any food for her self but some how she manages for her child. She gives what ever she had collected to her child and hides her all the time from the enemies. As day passes by,little perrot starts to fly. When she sees her child flying,she feels extreme ecstasy.  Slowly she trains her and makes her the most sensitive  birds in that society.

After one year,little parrot starts to live independently. There she falls in love with a strong and bold perrot of another society; miles and miles away from her mother. She marries him and stays happily. In the midst of her enjoyment,she forgets her old mother; who had sacrificed everything for her and struggled just to make her happy. She never sends messages nor meets her.

One day,unfortunately,old parrot gets attacked by her enemy. Luckily,she escapes with gash on her body. She spends her days inside throney bushes without any food and water. Days and nights, she struggles in scorching sun and terrifying storms. Her life becomes so pathetic where as her child enjoys her peaceful life. One day, one of her ne nighbors  finds hiding; she goes near to her and says,"Hey!what's wrong. Any problem?can I help you?".
Reluctantly  and ruefully she responds, "No thanks! I am okay".
When she utters, her tears rolls down her cheeks.
Neighbour knows something is wrong with her. So she inquire, "please don't hide your pain ,let me know. If I can I will help you".
There she says,"okay if you can go to east and inform my daughter about my illness, tell her to meet me as fast as possible".
Without spending much time she goes to little parrot and says,"Hello  little parrot!".
"Yes please "she responds.
"I am here with a message from your mom"she replies.
"oh!  What happen any thing special ".
There she tells the story of her illed mother." You know? Your mom is seriously sick, she is fighting with death. Please go and help her".
But she doesn't  believes her words. She thinks it's a prank played by her mother,she nodes."Okay i will go if time permits because I have lot of work to do".
When she hears those words she gets pinched on her heart then she says, "Okay you do as you wish ".
Saying that she sadly flies back her home.

As soon as she reaches home,she goes to meet her friend with some food. But she already gives up with her life. No one comes to meet her not even her her child. So, out of extreme hungry and illness, she eats the dust. She cries a lot for losing her friend, she feels reluctantly sad to inform little parrot about her mother's absents because she cares her work more than her mother.

She mourns her friend's death  and prays a lot. After three days,little parrot gets the message. She comes crying in the Neighbour's house and expresses her love for her mother. She cries and curses herself for not taking the words of her neighbor seriously. Begs for  forgiveness, "I am very sorry. I did not take those words seriously".
Weeping her tears, neighbours responds, "leave it now. Forget it, no use now!No matter how much you cry. How much you shout. Nothing is going to recover. I mean your mother will never come back. Instead of crying come let's pray for her soul to rest in peace " .So both of them seats together and prays for her mother...
