A week had passed since that day I spent the night with a drunk Levi. Many things had happened in this week. For one thing, Levi had become very close to my family. Allen adores him. Mum had started a small café' nearby. The space belonged to that old lady I spoke to on the first day I moved to our trailer home. She got along well with my mother and wanted to support our family. It was her idea to start a business. She was the one who had provided the capital and the place to start our modest café'. We were lucky that the place used to be a café'. So we didn't have to do much interior decoration and the setting was ready to start anytime.

We only had a couple of customers so far but it was a good turnout since it had only been three days since we started the business. I didn't expect it to become famous overnight anyway. Levi was helping mum and me with running the café'. Allen surprised us with his knowledge of baking. He said his best friend's mum taught him when he went over to their house. He had a love for baking but hid his talent because he feared mum would think less of him because of it. Actually mum did resist saying that it wasn't suitable for a boy. But I convinced her otherwise. I don't believe there should be a job that should come tagged with gender. If the person feels like he or she is capable of doing it, they should be given the opportunity to try it.

As for the fighting matches, I barely survived my last two matches. The first match was relatively easy because the girl underestimated me and choose to prance infront of the crowd after ignoring me. Levi taught me some knock out techniques. I really had nothing much going for me and I lose my stamina so fast. My only choice was to get a chance to get close to my opponent and knock them out before they do me too much damage. The next good point working in my favour was my resolution not to give up. It helped a lot to have Levi cheer for me from the sidelines, especially in the second match. I had absolutely no chance to even touch that girl who seemed to be a karate master. Levi had told me how to avoid punches. So the match was pretty much me trying to avoid her.

She got really upset about fifteen minutes into the match and started giving me openings to attack her. I knocked her out with a move Levi taught me in the first opening I got to attack her. By then, I was also barely standing because every time I got close to her, she bashed me up pretty badly. After that match, Obivan sensei's guard approached me and told me that he would be teaching me. I had started to go to his house for lessons. His training was more difficult than Levi's and he was more unyielding to let me have breaks when I needed it. Actually, he trained me to the bone.

It was a good thing it was the school break now. If it wasn't, I would be dead now. Despite my best efforts, Obivan sensei told me I was an amateur and would require atleast six months of continuous practice to even come close to beating that girl from Blood Phoenix that I met in my first match. Just like Levi, he also agreed that my only chance was to use a surprise attack that could knock out my opponent. He focused mostly on that but he also wanted me to build my stamina and ability to endure pain. It was really hard but I was progressing and I could feel it. My friends helped me out whenever they could. Me and Levi told them that I was learning to fight and hence needed their help to practice my moves. They agreed and during the first week they helped me out a lot. But now, I was practicing with Obivan sensei's guards who were tougher and didn't flinch at being hurt.

The only bright part of the day when I meet Obivan sensei is meeting his son James. He was really adorable and talked so much. I loved his way of speaking and how he tries to say words wiser than his age. But to my surprise, that kid also already knows better fighting techniques than me. I am always panting and crying my eyes out after doing two rounds around the grounds of Obivan sensei's home. Obivan sensei always runs with his dogs and he runs pretty fast. He does ten rounds while I do two. James runs two rounds with his little dog cub. He runs slower on his small feet but he still does it and I am honestly surprised that Obivan sensei doesn't even go easy on his son. James loves it though. So, it wasn't like me where he had to scold me every time for lagging behind. It was depressing to even think that I haven't managed to keep the speed Obivan sensei expects from me.
