I'm now a junior in high school, I'll be starting all the way at the beginning of my freshman year.
As a young lesbian, I felt the need to say my name and tell whoever I was meeting my sexuality, I didn't want anybody to think I was straight. I came out in 8th grade and I had to closet myself at home regardless of if I already came out. It was hard for me, I got kicked out of my house then brought back in, hard times. I didn't like girls in my grade, but all those upperclassmen were fine.
My first day of freshman year, I guess you could say I "skipped" a grade in math. I had my math class with sophomores. I sat next to one of the prettiest girls in that class. Her name was Ana, (I changed the name) I introduced myself and she had the cutest smile. A few minutes into the class our teacher starts taking attendance. She didn't here her name, I figured she was in the wrong class or they changed her schedule. While walking out to go to the counselors, she winked at me. I MEAN MY OUTFIT WASN'T EVEN THAT GAY, YOU FEEL.
I didn't see her for the rest of the day and no other females stood out to me at the time, since it was the first day of school. Well, the next day I saw her walking in the hallway. I stopped her, acting like I forgot her name because I kinda did, I didn't know how to pronounce it (it was a hard name sorry). I also didn't wanna be rude and mispronounce her name.
"Hey, weren't you in my math class?"
"Yeah" she said with a wide smile
"I'm so sorry to ask you this, but can you tell me your name again?"
"It's Ana"
"Do you have an instagram or snapchat so we can get to know each other?"
Basically we exchanged info and I went on with the rest of my school day. She texted me around the time that school ended.
Texts:
"Hey, how was your day?" her
"Whats up, it was good and yours?" me
(insert boring small talk here)
"Did you know that I'm a little freshman?"me
"No way, really? You look like a sophomore"her
"Yeah" (I hate telling girls my age because then I get called a baby)
"I mean that's cool, but are you gay"
"How do you know" (me a surprised homo)
"You looked at me in a certain way that straight girls don't"
[I might update tomorrow because this is a long story]
