It's another year of mind games and I don't mind,
All my emotions and my unequivocal words is yours to keep.
Would you find my poetry so alluring and deep?
Searching for a complicated answer is yours to find.

So come on now bring it on all over again,
I don't mind and I will continue playing your games.
We're aware it's a matter of lessons we'll soon gain,
Just makes sure if you begin you wouldn't switch lanes.

Are you ready for another unhinged year?
I can't wait for that day to turn into fear.
Is it just me or does it already feel so normal?
It's like suiting up formal to our own funeral.

Set up the cards and put it on the table,
Make your first move but don't ever feel feeble.
We both know how badly we want each other,
Did I just spilled the tea? I sure hope you don't suffer.
