June's POV:
When June left Stan talking with Matt she took off quick to try and catch up with Kayla. She wanted to verify something; she could have swore that was Kayla's makeup that Stan had on his shirt, and from what she had seen, Kayla looked like a girl who had just been screwed; having some experience in that area, June would know.
"I knew that I should have followed through on my gut instinct," she thought to herself. "I knew Stan was playing down that kiss between him and Kayla. I am so going to find out what the hell is going on between them."
Seeing Kayla ahead talking to another girl, she got close enough to them so they wouldn't see her but she could hear every word they said.
Kayla's POV:
"Hey Kayla," Shaundra yelled to get Kayla's attention.
"Hey Shaundra, what's up?" Kayla asked.
"Girl, what have you been doing?" Shaundra asked as she looked at Kayla's appearance.
"What do you mean?" asked Kayla taking her mirror out to see what Shaundra was talking about.
"Oh no," she moaned.
Kayla hadn't realized it, but her little rendevouz with Stan had left her looking somewhat disshevelled. Her makeup was smeared, her clothing wrinkled, and her hair looked like a tangled mess.
Embarassed Kayla tried to repair the damage as she looked at Shaundra who looked at her knowingly. She sighed...might as well fess up.
"I was with Stan," she admitted.
"Girl, are you guys so horny that y'all have to make out BEFORE school even starts?" she asked teasing Kayla.
"No, it's nothing like that," Kayla assured her. "We actually had a fight, and Stan suggested that we date other people."
"Date other people!" Shaundra exclaimed. "I didn't even know you guys were dating."
"Well, we aren't...weren't...not officially," Kayla began.
Kayla decided to confide in Shaundra. She had proved to be a good friend when Kayla was upset about Charlene humiliating her. Kayla wanted another girl to talk to who might have some advice she could offer regarding her dilemma with Stan.
"Shaundra, I wasn't exactly honest with you," she began. "I told you that I kissed Stan, and I did...but...we...actually kind of...did more," she confessed coyly.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," Shaundra screamed as she caught on to what Kayla was suggesting.
"Are you saying that you and Stan got busy? He plucked your raisin? Cuz girl, admit it, we both know that cherry had dried up since you had never used it," she teased. "Ohh girl, you gotta give me some details."
Kayla blushed at Shaundra's reaction as well as the terminology she used.
"Yes Shaundra, we had sex," Kayla said primly.
Shaundra rolled her eyes at that.
"Well how was it? Rumor has it that Stan is packing some serious hardware down there, and that he knows how to use it. Is it true?"
"Oh yeah," Kayla said remembering "it's definitely true. Stan is truly AMAZING," she said dreamily.
June's POV:
June had heard enough.
"That bitch! I am so going to end her!" she thought as she slithered away. "WTF does Stan see in that "Miss Goody Two Shoes anyway?" There is no way in hell she can satisfy him like I could if he would give me the chance."
"Okay, this is bullshit," she thought "I am so tired of his playing hard to get, giving every other girl what I have worked so hard for and what should rightfully be mine. Being patient isn't my style, and it doesn't seem to be working. I'm gonna have to make a move, and I'm gonna have to make it fast."
(Back to Kayla and Shaundra)
"Oh Shaundra," Kayla thought about what she was saying, "I hope that you're not upset hearing this."
"No girl, I told you that there was never anything between me and Stan," Shaundra reminded her again. "Just wishful thinking on my part...but I'm over it already. So why were you two fighting?" she asked.
"Oh gosh, this is a long story," Kayla started. "Well, Stan saw me kissing Kenny..."
"Kenny? Quarterback Kenny. Damn girl, you move fast," Shaundra said surprised.
"Yeah, well, that's what Stan thought, and he was mad, so we fought...," Kayla began again.
"Ohh, fuck-fighting," Shaundra said remembering Kayla's dishevelled appearance.
"No, there was no sex...but it did get kind of steamy," Kayla confessed. "But then Stan said we should date other people when I told him I loved him."
"You told him you loved him. Girl why did you do that?" Shaundra tsked. "Well, did he tell you he loved you?"
Kayla had to think about that. Stan hadn't actually told her he loved her.
"No, not really" she said "But he must care...why would he be jealous of Kenny if he didn't?" she reasoned.
"Yeah, maybe," Shaundra agreed. "You might have a point. So what are you gonna do?"
"I think Stan needs a push to admit how he feels, so I'm going to Paris' party with Kenny," I said smiling.
"Ow girl, good one," Shaundra said laughing. "This is gonna be good, I can't wait to see it."
"So you're going to Paris' party, too?" I asked her as we got ready to go to class.
"Yes...I'm going with Juelz," Shaundra confessed.
"You and Juelz?" I was surprised, but not too much--they were perfect for each other.
"Yeah, we've been kinda seeing each other on the down-low for some time now," she admitted.
"I think that's great!" I told her. "Juelz is a nice guy...and he is extremely cute."
"Check yourself," Shaundra laughed as we went our separate ways.
