"So Lotor betrayed us all..." Lance muttered under his breath. The paladins quickly became filled with worry, the princess currently being with Lotor in the quintessence field.

"We need to wait for them to return, princess Allura is in danger if we try going after them," Shiro sighed, his gaze drifting towards the door for a moment.

"Wait a second..." Ash muttered. She broke away from Keith and began running to the red lion's airlock.

"Ash! What are you doing?" Came Keith's shout from the hallway. Many pairs of feet were heard following them.

Ash hurriedly went inside of the airlock and hopped onto the craft, placing the helmet over her head. The paladins busted through the door, and froze when they saw Ash.

"Are you crazy? You'll get yourself killed out there! Or worse princess-" Lance cut himself off, realizing what he was about to say. Ash's eyes widened behind the glass of her helmet. She offered a sad smile, unnoticeable tears rolling down her cheeks.

Ash silently began flicking on the switches to the craft, her hands shaking from the comment Lance made. But she felt a hand grip her wrist, and she turned to her captor.

"I am not going to let you risk your life over this, we have a plan," Keith stated, his firm grip on Ash's hand not wavering against her struggle.

"You all clearly need princess Allura more than me," she whispered. With her other hand, Ash slammed the airlock button, causing her to be shot out of the castle, Keith's grip forcefully taken.

The lock automatically closed, leaving astounded and shocked faces among the crew. Keith turned angrily towards Lance.

"You!" He yelled, walking closer to Lance, his hands balled into fists. Keith now towered over Lance, his figure giving him the advantage of intimidation.

"What did I do?" Lance said defensively. Keith poked him angrily in the chest.

"Oh come on! 'Or worse Allura,' get your god damn head out of the clouds! You know how sensitive Ash can be," he shouted, a confused and scared Lance now backed into the wall.

"Keith! Calm down, there would've been no way stopping Ash, even if Lance didn't say that," Shiro ordered, walking closer to them. Keith reluctantly stepped away from Lance, and angry grunt escaping his lips.

"I just don't want the last words she hears is that's her life is inferior to someone else's," Keith sighed, stepping towards Shiro. Shiro offered a sad smile.

"You and I both know Ash is pretty damn reliable and strong, she'll come through," he said, earning a small smile from Keith.

"Step away from the princess," Koran ordered, everyone's weapon pointed at Lotor. Romelle had just revealed what happened to her home planet to Allura. Keith's gaze fell when he realized a certain red-head wasn't with them.

"Where is Ash," he demanded, his grip becoming tighter on his blade. Allura gazed at him in confusion.

"What do you mean, isn't she with you?" She asked, turning to Keith. He shook his head, worry clouding his thoughts.

The crew glanced at eachother worriedly for a few seconds, but when they looked back their worried gazed turned to shock.

The doors had slid open, revealing a silhouette of a person. They took a step forward, revealing Ash, without her hoodie up.

The crew gasped as they took in her ears and tail as the door shut behind her. Lotor turned to her, but his gaze only widened in shock.

"How... your race... your race is a myth," he whispered, taking in Ash's markings under her face. Ash gave no reply as she speedily shoved Lotor to the ground, her knife against his throat.
