It's a cold fall day. You pull your jacket closed on your way out of the school building to your car.

The parking lot had one other car in it, since you had stayed after school.

"Hey Y/N!" said Dean running up to you.

"I don't want to talk right now Dean." you said back, trying to walk past him.

"Yeah, Y/N but I do... Why the hell are you ignoring me now?" he said, raising his voice.

"Look, Dean, I'll talk to you later." You said quickly, walking away.

He has a temper that worries you sometimes...

He turned and grabbed your shoulder, he pulled you close to him.

"No, Y/N, you'll talk to me now." He said angrily. The way he held you tight made you feel threatened and safe at the same time. As you pulled away he grabbed your jacket and you slipped out of it. The cold fall air gave you goosebumps on your skin.

Dean began yelling about how you've changed.

You stood there there helplessly, cold and sad, both by the weather and the words you were hearing. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder.

"Are you okay?" said a tall brown haired boy.

"She's fine." said Dean.

"Back off." he told Dean, and grabbed the jacket out of his hands.

He put your jacket around your shoulders as Dean stomped away.

"My name is Cameron, Cameron Dallas." he said smiling.

"Yeah, I know." you said awkwardly.

"Oh.. have we met before?" he said searching his brain for a name that he didn't know.

"No, it's just it's kinda hard not to know the King of High School's name." you said.

"Well, umh... I would love to know your name." He said.

"It's Y/N." you said looking up into his eyes. He is a good 3-4 inches taller than you.

"That's a beautiful name." He responded.

"Thanks." you blushed.

"Would you like to come to my place for a while?" he said.

"I don't know.." you said, looking at the ground.

"Oh c'mon, I don't bite." He said with a smirk.

He lead you to his car.

"We'll come back for your car later, is that okay?." He said.

"Umh sure." you said.

You were a little surprised he was actually talking to you.

"Umh, thank you, for standing up for me back there." you said. You weren't sure how to word it.

"No problem, and don't take this the wrong way, but, I've noticed you before." He said looking at you.

"Y-you have?" The thought of that made you nervous.

"Yeah, I have.. You know, I don't think that Dean treats you right at all Y/N." he said.

"He's got his flaws." You responded with a sigh.

He pulled into the driveway of a 2 story house. It was a brownish color. The same as all the other houses on the block.

"Here we are.." He said, stepping out of his car. You got out and grabbed your book bag. You both headed up to the door. He opened it.

It was a beautiful house.

"Looks like my parents are out of town." He said, opening a drawer revealing an envelope of money.

"... and judging by the amount, for quite a while.." He said with a frown.

As he turned to you, he smiled.

"Wanna sit?" He flopped onto a couch and patted next to him.

You sat down, still sort of astonished by the way he told Dean to get lost, and the way he invited you over.

"So.. are you and Dean still together?" He asked.

"Uhh I'm not sure.." you said.

"Oh.." he sighed.

The awkward silence you dreaded finally arrived. Then he put his hand on your shoulder.

"Between you and me Y/N, I don't like the way Dean treats you... And if I see him grab you like that again... I'll deck him." He said. He looked down, and then he looked right at

you.

"Thank you Cameron." you said.

"Yeah.." he said.

He took your hand in his.

Then he leaned in and planted a kiss right on your lips.

"Y/N, I'm sorry." He said with his face getting red.

"No, it's okay..." you said back. "... I liked it."

You kissed again. Sparks flew as your eyes met.

Your phone started ringing.

Dean's photo popped up as it buzzed. Cameron looked at your phone and then looked at you.
