I jog down my staircase in my high waisted light Blue ripped skinny jeans and a white crop-top and grab a pair of white air force one's and run out the door with my brother close behind me.
"shotgun!" i shout loud as ever
"no- i- sophia you got shotgun last time."
"not my fault your slow."
"hey, i'm not slow i was ju-"
"your slow deal with it and get in the back seat."
"im up front on the way back."

i think you can tell what kind of relationship me and shawn have by now

we are only a year apart so it is easy for us to mess around with eachother.

i look up from my phone when my recent favourite song comes on the radio, i place my hand onto the screen and turn up the volume
"go hard and watch the sunrise, one night could change your whole life bop top drop top baby its a no brainier" i shout knowing for a fact that my brother will be rolling his eyes at my in my opinion; amazing music taste.
he dose not agree
i notice that we are taking a unusual route - in fact were going in the opposite direction
"mom where are we going" i question
"its the first Saturday of summer, carpool - Oliver Thomas, Sam Peters & Caleb Leblanc"
"oh" i guess everyone loves informing me when i am going to have to be stuck in the car with 4 boys lmao

soon enough we only have one more person to pick up, Caleb Le... i don't have a clue
we pull up to his house and as my mom has with the past two houses she turns to me to ask if i will go to the door

"yup" i reply before she can even start
i open the door and swing my legs out sliding my iPhone 7s+ into my right back pocket.
i walk my way up to their front door and raise my hand up to the door but before i can the door swings open.
i look down and see a girl who must be about 3 or 4 years younger than me; 11 or 12
"hey im sophia im Shawns sister"
i point over to the car
"is Caleb their?"
"nice to meet you sophia im annie...can i call you soph?"
"sure you can...annie" i reply with a smile
i lean onto my knee so im closer to her height
"soph...your really pretty"
"thank you b!"
"can we be friends?"
"mhm"
her face lights up
"annie who is at the do- oh hey" and this must be Caleb...oof
"Caleb this is Sophia i call her soph, she is really pretty & she is my new friend" annie informs her big brother
"hey Caleb" i look up to him with a smile
"h-hey Sophia you must me Shawns sister... he never told me how beautiful you are."

"hmm" i stand up and look back
"so do you wanna...you know"
"oh yeah sorry"
"don't worry about it"
Caleb shouts goodbye to his mom and 'Hayley' who i'm guessing is his sister or something before leaning down and kissing his sister on the forehead and saying goodbye
i lean down to say goodbye to annie
"bye annie" i say with a smile
"bye Soph" she pulls my hand down so i am closer to her level she leans in close to my ear and holds her hand infront of her mouth almost as a guard so Caleb cant see what she is saying she starts to whisper then looks sternly at caleb
he holds his hands up in defence and laughs looking away
i laugh at his gesture then go back to listening to annie
"i think my brother likes you"
"do you now"
"mhm... like alot"
i turn to look at her and laugh a little
"it was really nice meeting you annie"
she laughs and then engulfs me into a hug
i return the gesture and hug her back.
"bye annie"
"bye soph"
me and Caleb start to walk down the long driveway
"soph..." Caleb says more as a question
"yes?"
"what did annie say to you" he questions
i look at him with a smirk
"just something about her brother liking me"
"she only has one brot- ohhh"
"wow your slow" i laugh
"heyyy" he holds his heart pretending to be hurt
"sorry b" i sympathise
"i mean she isn't wrong"
i turn my head to him
"whats that supposed to mean?"
"you may never know"
i give him a dirty look
"you look good even when your not trying... what cant you do"
i laugh at his comment
i go to grab the passenger seat door handle but Caleb's hand is already on it
"perfect girls shouldn't have to open their own doors"
i look at him and smile
"he actually is the cutest awh"
"thanks"
"what..." i question
"for thinking i'm cute"
"i didn't mean to say that out lout oml"
i put my head on the dashboard and laugh
"too late"
"enough flirting" my mom ruins the vibe
"ughh"
Caleb looks at me and laughs before closing the door and walking round to the back seats
greeting the other 2 boys in the far back seats and my brother in the middle
i look back at him and he smirks at me
"pretty girl"
he whispers loud enough for me to hear sadly loud enough for my brother to hear too
"gross"
i turn round to him so my mom cant hear
"Shawn just because no girls like you dose not mean you should be a little bitch about things"
the boys erupt into laughter.
