I followed Nico through the monster infested woods. I didn't really care about what he was doing or where he was taking me. I guess I could have been described as a hollow shell now that my seawead brain was gone.

I would do anything to be with him again. I want to hear his voice or to feel his soft touch. I want to see him and for him to tell me he loves me one more time or call me wise-girl. Why does he have to be so loyal. Why did he fight Gaea alone. He wanted to protect me, but I don't want to be protected, I just want him to be with me. I felt tears forming in my eyes again. I shut them tight, not letting the tears escape.

"Open your eyes wise-girl." My eyes shot open and I gasped. Percy was standing in front of me. No, Percy's ghost. He was a semi-transparent white color. He was floating a few inches off the ground and had his lopsided grin on his face.

I quickly ran forward, getting ready to squish him with a hug. Instead of feeling his embrace I went through him amd landed on the ground behind him. I couldn't hold in the tears anymore. I began to sob uncontrollably.

Percy knelt down beside me and tried to whipe away my tears, but his hand just went through me. His looked like he was about to break down like me. He tried to hug me. It didn't work. He tried again. As expected I passed through him. He kept trying, but it didn't work. His face was covered in ghostly tears.

"Percy stop!" I said a little to forcefully. "It won't work, I can't touch you and you can't touch me."

"I know" He said slightly above a whisper.

"Do you know why he came back as a ghost? I brought him back the same way as hazel, but I dont know why it went w-wrong." Nico asked, his voice cracked slightly in the end.

I Sighed and wiped away my tears. "did you say anything to him and if you did what was it."

"I commanded him to come with me and not to leave me alone." He replied.

"What about any thoughts before you commanded him?"

"I was thinking that since I was the ghost king I would be able to control his ghost because I am the son of hades and stuff."

I thought about that for a few minutes. "Maybe it was the fact that you had control over his ghost and that made his ghost stay in ghost form because you gave the command to his ghost while thinking you could control ghost. His ghost probably couldn't return to his body because of that."

"Riptide also returned to Percy like it did when he was well, you know, alive." Nico imformed me.

"hmm. Your command could have been interpreted in a way that ment you want him to protect you by never leaving his side so he might have become your protector of sorts." Nico looked like he was thinking about my prediction.

"it is quite possible that you're right, but how am I supposed to get him into his body, im guessing his shrine and body have already been burnt 'cause I can smell and see the smoke." Nico said.

I Sighed. Nico was right he had already been burnt. I started to silently cry and so did Nico.

"You know, me being a ghost is better than me not being here at all so be happy! Im glad I can be with you and it does suck that im not 'alive' but I'm glad I can see you guys and talk to you." Percy said as he awkwardly shuffled his feet. I could see his cheeks blushing a grey color. He seemed so nervous that I couldn't help but laugh and soon Nico joined me in my merriment. At least my seawead brain was was with me... sort of..

Percy blushed even more, but soon joined in. Nico's face quickly turned panicked.

"OH GODS! WHERE ARE WE GOING TO KEEP HIM!!!!" My eyes widened in horror.

" We could tell Chiron and I could become a house god like the ones in Camp Jupiter." Percy suggested

"Percy! You just had a good idea!" Nico said jokingly

"Hardy har har di angelo now shut up before I break your face in 'cause I can actually touch you." Percy threatened and Nico's face paled umm... more.

NICO POV

The campers (from both camps) and the gods were at the amphitheater, chiron seemed to be giving a speach.

"Chiron we have a request!" Annabeth said with excitement evident in her voice. Percy stepped forward and everyone gasped "We want to make Percy a house god of Camp Half-blood. Please!" I begged. The gods smiled.

"Of course!" Hades said. I have never actually seen him this happy before! The campers and some of the gods rushed towards him. When they tried to hug him they passed through him and they looked disappointed. Percy smiled and told them it was okay and that he was here and it didn't matter if he wasn't actually alive. The campers nodded in agreement. The rest of the Seven were thrilled that Percy wasn't gone and they didnt have to wait till they die to see him.

The flames in the camp fire went from a dark purple to a huge bright blazing tower of flames, showing the excitement and joy coming from the campers and gods.

Percy looked really happy that the Romans were getting along with the Greeks. He had a huge ghost smile on his face.

We started singing songs, even camp Jupiter and the gods joined in.

Maybe the fates weren't as cruel as I thought they were.
