How could this have happened in the little simple town of riverdale? The town with pep?
Thewhole gym was silent for a couple second watching Veronica Lodge's boyfriend getting escorted out by the police some people with shock and some people in horror. Veronica however was enraged. The gym broke out in confusion and yelling discussing what just occurred.
Principal Weatherbee was trying to make an announcement for everyone to sit in their seats and calm everyone down, but Veronica couldn't.
She knew her devious father did this he had to have done this, her Archiekins can't be a murder, she thought to herself. She pushed past people on the bleachers to get on to the actual gym floor and run after her boyfriend.
"Wait Ronni!", Betty Cooper, her best friend and the perfect girl next door, yelled after her but Veronica didn't listen. Veronica made her way to the entrance of Riverdale highschool to see her father watching Archie being taken away by the police with a satisfied look on his face. That's when she knew for sure.
"You did this!", Veronica yelled in anger as She power walked towards my father. With Betty and Jughead in toe.
"Now Mija, Why would you accuse me of such a thing?" He asked in a fake sweet voice.
"Because you are a pompous asshole!", She yells.
"Veronica back down.", Her father said coldly.
"Besides you won't be able to prove him innocent or me guilty." He said with a smirk on his face. He turned around and walked to an expensive limousine parked in front of the building. Veronica couldn't contain herself. She was about run after him with the intention of smacking him in the face, but Jughead grabbed her and restrained her.
"Veronica relax.", He said in her ear. She wrestled out of his hard hold on her.
"Don't tell me what to do! If Betty was arrested you would send all the serpents to Hiram attack!" Veronica yells at him. Jughead's face goes from concern to anger. He starts to say something but Betty cuts in.
"Look Veronica we will find a way out of this situation I swear. We will prove him innocent." She says calmly trying to reassure her. She gives her bestie a hug.
"Veronica!" Cheryl and Toni yell as they walk up to Veronica.
"What the hell just happened?!?" Cheryl asked confused.
"A lot.", Veronica says not really wanting to explain the spat with her father.
"We gotta go right now.. since your dating Archie a lot of the students are going to bombard you with questions.", Cheryl explained.
"Wait..what? We still have an hour left at school.", Veronica says in confusion.
"Weather Bee let everyone out early after...the incident in the gym.", Toni explained she says while looking at Veronica sympathetically.
