My world has been completely and utterly flipped upside down in a matter of hours. How did I get here? In the backseat of a Luxury car with two devilishly attractive vampires. Both looking at me with so much hunger as if I'm their last meal on this earth. Eyes redder than sin with fangs applying pressure on their full lips, lips I can't stop picturing all over my body. I woke up this morning as I usually do, with a myriad of tasks thrown at me. As the Beta of the Jameson pack, it was rare to have a "day off" but today tensions were extremely high. With all of the Alpha's visiting for a very important meeting, my Alpha was as psychotic as ever.

"Everything has to be perfect, we cannot show an ounce of weakness" he screamed at me for the 5th time this morning.

"Yes Alpha" I grit out through clenched teeth.

Like this we continued, him berating me with orders and me begrudgingly following said orders. This was my life, it was mundane but it was the way the world worked for me. Until a few hours ago of course... when I denounced my pack and took the biggest risk i've ever taken. No guts no glory, right? My Alpha has always been tip toeing the line between what was morally right and wrong, but tonight is where I hit my breaking point. To consider punishing an innocent child for the love shared by her parents? Just the thought makes my blood boil. I have always felt the old laws were outdated, as the world has evolved so have we. Humans, Wolves, Vampires, and everything in between - the reality we live in is not that of our predecessors. Therefore, in that moment, I knew the opportunity presented was an offer I couldn't turn down. 

"My pack is always welcoming new strong females like yourself. You would be the perfect fit with us, Karina" announced Alpha Marisol Gonzalez 

That's all that I needed to hear, Alpha Gonzalez was one of the most prominent female Alphas and it would be an honor to join her pack.

"I accept your offer. Alpha Jameson I hereby denounce your pack." I loudly stated.

Everything that followed was a whirlwind. Tensions were high and things had reached a fever pitch. I contemplated how much had changed so rapidly while the dust settled on the conflict at hand. It was then I realized everything I owned was in the pack house. Marisol and Mikayla approached and I quickly clued them in to the dilemma.

"Don't worry. We'll provide you with everything you need. You're pack now" said my new Alpha.

I felt much lighter in that moment and that's when I smelled it. I took a deep breath to identify the aroma, it smelled of cognac and tobacco with a bit of vanilla. My heartbeat began to intensify and I could feel my wolf pacing in my mind. She was intrigued by the distinct odor as well. My eyes began to shut on their own accord and that's when I heard him.

"or you could ride with us, gorgeous" stated a gruff tantalizing voice. 

I slowly turned to face the source of that voice, not exactly sure what to expect. I knew it belonged to a vampire but both my wolf and I were intrigued to discover the source of that delicious scent.

Nothing could've prepared me for the sight in front of my eyes. Two beautiful blonde men stared at me, their eyes bore into my being. I quickly figured out which of the two had spoken up first, the smirk on his face spoke volumes. I felt frozen in place, not out of fear no, out of a deep rooted curiosity that had made its way from my nose to in between my legs. Twins?! What kind of witchcraft was this. Before I could even formulate a response, the other one spoke.

"Uh, excuse you. I saw her first" he said with a clipped tone.

The owner of the smirk quickly responded "You wish."

As they both glared at each other, I found my resolve. Since I was all for chasing presented opportunities tonight, who was I to deny what the universe so kindly was handing to me? The chance to fulfill one of my biggest fantasies. My wolf let out a howl and I knew she was on board.

"How about I get to know both of you?" I questioned, as I lightly bit my lip. I could feel my wolf pushing to the surface and in that moment I knew my green eyes were shining a honey hue.

"How could we say no to that?" the first vampire said, with a seductive smile. I could see in both their eyes this outcome was not expected, but a welcomed challenge nonetheless.

What was I about to get myself into?
