Don't ask me about the 80s', i may not remember much.
it was so long ago, I'm simply out of touch.
i was working two jobs and going to school
back when i still lived by my parents rule
that was back when when i was young so my memory
is a little hazy though I'll try to recall what i can,
without sounding like I'm crazy.
i was still in high school,swimming in the pool, i won a couple medals
cuz i wasn't afraid to act a fool.
i didn't follow politics much, i think the president was Reagan,
i had a tough time in class, cuz everyone thought i was pagan.
I was told being pagan was toxic but all they needed to accept it
was to change its name to Gothic.
that's enough about religion, we know there are more out there than just christian.
most of what people preach is only fiction.
i guess i don't recall much now, so to those of you who do, i give a bow,
living back then was like having a cash cow.
what i remember from those days now
is gas was .99 cents and the cars would barely dent
add to that i could pay my own rent
that's why i wish the 80's weren't spent.
