A/N Hey I'm updating early cause this weekend is my school homecoming and I don't want to forget! Love You All! <3

Once again, the next night, Comet and I set off into the large, heavily wooded forest. I reached into my tan satchel and wrapped my pale fingers around the parchment I had written on the past night. Closing my eyes, I exhaled a deep breath into the chilly august night air.

When I arrived at the ridge Luke wasn't there yet, but I didn't worry. I slide down off of comets silky back and sat down on a large rock near the edge of the cliff. I closed my eyes, letting the sun warm my face, and a small smile creep onto my face.

Then, my eyes, seemed to only be closed for a few seconds when they shot open by the sound of a snapping twig. My heart was pounding so loud, I was sure anyone could hear it.

I leaned over and picked up a decent sized rock, "Who's there?" I hollered as bold as I could.

"Whoa there Tiger," Luke mumbled stepping out with both of his large hands to the air above his perfectly messy hair.

I exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"What were you planning to do with this?" He asked walking over and grabbing the rock out of my hand, his fingers brushing mine. I inhaled lightly and looked away as he tossed it aside.

"I- Um- Throw it?" I questioned, more than told, him.

"Hm," He grunted crossing his arms over his chest as he smirked.

"Its not funny." I hissed getting quite agitated.

"It actually is," He argued flashing a brilliant smile.

I shook my head and marched back over to Comet, reaching into my satchel and pulling out the invitation. I pushed it into his chest on my way back to my spot on the rock.

"Wait," he mumbled grabbing my wrist, "Are you really mad?"

I turned to give him a crude remark, but looked into his bright, concerned orbs and changed my mind, "No, but you did scare me nearly to death and you think its funny," I replied.

"Well I sincerely apologize, princess."

"It's Jewels."

"I know," He responded with a smirk.

We sat back down and talk about everything. Things about his small farm on the top of the greenest hill, Things about my father and how comet could eat nonstop and never get any fatter, and every little or big thing in between until we ran out and had nothing left to say.

"If you don't want to hang out with me thats ok, you know at your party," Luke said breaking the silence, "I mean don't feel obligated to leave your other friends to come talk to me."

I looked over at him then away again, "I don't really have any other friend," I whispered.

"Oh."

It stayed quiet until I needed to leave, "I'll see you tomorrow then?" I asked once I was on the back of Comet.

"Of course."

I smiled and turned around trotting away from the clearing.

"Goodnight Princess!" I heard Luke's deep voice shout, making me laugh to myself.
