I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed as I saw my black backless lace crop top and my rose patterned skater skirt and my black wedges with bows on the outside.
"Do you think Josh will like it?" I asked Emerald as I turned around and smiled at her.
"I think Josh will love it," Emerald smiled back, "Now I'm going to walk across the hall and go to Auntie Emma and Uncle Cameron's apartment."
"Okay," I nodded as I sat down on the couch, "I love you, sweetie."
"I love you to mom," Emerald smiled before walking out.
I sighed to myself and grabbed my phone. I unlocked it and clicked on the Instagram app. I began to scroll through fan accounts of myself and decided to like some posts, comment on others and even followed a few accounts. There was a knock at the door and I snapped my head in the direction of it. I got up and flattened out my skirt before going over to the door and opening it.
"Wow. Blue," Josh smiled, "You look, beautiful."
"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself," I smiled back.
"Ready to go?" Josh asked as he stuck out his arm.
"Of course I am," I nodded before grabbing his arm and closing the door behind me.
Josh and I took the elevator down and made our way to the lobby of the building. We walked out of the apartment building and began to walk down the street. Josh and I made small talk about our lives and how we've been. Josh led me to this restaurant called 'Gramercy Tavern'. All I know that this place is kinda expensive.
"Hello. Do you have a reservation?" Asked the waiter.
"Yes. Under Joshua Colley," Josh smiled at the waiter who was about our age.
"Right this way," The waiter smiled at us.
He led us to a table near the back in a corner. Josh pulled out a seat and he motioned for me to sit down. I chuckled and sat down as I shifted the chair in. Josh went around the table and sat down on the other chair.
"Is there anything you'd like me to start you off with?" The waiter looked at me.
"Um, can I have a glass of red wine?" I asked.
"What type?" The waiter asked.
"Nebbiolo, Giacomo Borgogno & Figli, Barolo, Italy 2011," I smiled at him.
"And for you sir?" The waiter asked Josh.
"A Jack's Abbey for me please," Josh smiled at the waiter.
"Of course," The waiter nodded before walking away.
"He was definitely staring at you," Josh chuckled.
"Well, you know," I smirked, "I am currently available."
"Wow," Josh laughed, "I feel loved right now."
Josh and I laughed and talked as we ate food and drank our drinks. I looked in the direction of the way out and spotted a group of people waiting outside the restaurant.
"What are you looking at?" Josh asked.
"I think we need a different way out of this restaurant," I explained.
Josh nodded. He paid the bill quickly and asked the waiter for a back exit. The waiter showed us to the back. Josh and I laughed as we made our way back to the apartment building. We took the elevator to the top floor and got off. We made our way to the stairs and walked up to the roof. We opened the door to the roof and walked onto the roof. Josh led me to an inflatable pool that is currently filled with blankets and pillows.
"Is this for us?" I asked with a little smirk.
"Of course it is beautiful," Josh smiled at me.
I sat down in the inflatable pool and Josh sat next to me. We laid down and looked at the stars. Josh grabbed the blanket and threw it over both of us. I laughed softly to myself.
"I've missed you so much," I smiled at Josh.
"I've missed you so much too," Josh smiled back at me.
I yawned softly and smiled sleepily, "I'm tired."
"Then go to sleep," Josh chuckled, "I'll wake you up when we need to head in."
"Okay. Thank you."
