Liam's P.O.V

"Liam! Emerald's here!" Dad yelled from the living room.

"Who's Emerald?" Theo asked as he raised an eyebrow at me.

"I think a cousin," I shrugged as my door to my bedroom opened revealing Emerald in a navy blue romper with sandals, "Emerald. This is Theodore. Theo, this is Emerald."

"Hey," Emerald smiled at Theo as she sat down on the right of me.

"H-hi," Theo stuttered as a blush crept onto his cheeks.

"Dude. You okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah," He nodded with a shaky smile.

"So. What are you guys doing?" Emerald asked.

"We were talking about how we both are going to audition for Les Miserables on Broadway," I explained.

"Theo. You sing?" Emerald asked as she looked at Theo.

"Yeah. Do you?" Theo asked, "Well you probably do if Liam just told you what we were talking about but if you do that's okay it's really none of my business, I'm sorry."

"Don't be. You make me laugh Theo," Emerald laughed softly before hitting his shoulder playfully.

"Wait..." Theo stopped, "Aren't you Blue Ortiz's daughter?"

"The one and only," Emerald smiled as she gave him a little bow.

"Wow. What's it like having your mother be super famous?" Theo asked excitedly.

"It's okay but I always wonder how life would have gone if she weren't famous," Emerald shrugged.

"And to have Josh be your dad is probably amazing," Theo smiled at Emerald.

"He's...he's not my dad," Emerald muttered.

"Oh. I'm sorry. Forget I ever said anything," Theo gulped nervously.

"No, it's okay. I kinda wish he was my dad. He's so kind and nice that I'd love having him in my life forever," Emerald smiled.

"That's cool," Theo chuckled.

"What do you guys want to do today?" I asked them.

"What if we get to know each other better," Emerald suggested, "As we think of questions and all of us answer them."

"I like that," Theo chuckled.

"I'll start," I smiled, "How old are you two? I'm twelve."

"I'm eleven," Emerald nodded.

"And I'm twelve," Theo smiled, "What about favorite color? Mine's orange."

"Mine's green," Emerald smiled.

"And mine's red," I explained.

"What do you like about a girl? Like, what catches your attention?" Emerald asked.

"Eyes catch my attention," I explained.

"U-uh, t-to be h-honest, I like a g-girls p-personality," Theo stuttered out.

"Emerald! Come help me pick out a gift for Emma!" Dad yelled.

"Coming!" Emerald yelled, "I'll be right back."

Emerald left the room and I looked at Theo with a smirk. He looked at me with his cheeks tinted red.

"Does Theodore have a crush on Emerald?" I asked all gushy.

"I don't know, maybe," Theo shrugged nervously, "She's really pretty and all but I don't really know her that well."

"Well, would you want to go on a 'date' with her?" I asked him.

"Well yeah, duh. Who wouldn't want to?" Theo laughed.

"Me," I laughed.

"That's understandable though. That's your cousin," Theo shrugged, "And she's the most beautiful girl to me. And I'm just another boy to her."

"Well how about I give you her number and you try to get to know her better," I suggested.

"Okay, what's her number?"

Time had passed and it was close to 10:30 pm. Emerald, Theo and I were talking and laughing when mom arrived home. Josh and Blue made their way here and sat down talking with everyone. We ran out and greeted Mom and she had a special bag with her.

"What's in the bag?" I asked mom.

Dad dug into the bag and pulled out two nerf guns and a piece of paper taped to each, "Theo. Liam. Your mission is to be my junior groomsmen. Will you?"

Theo and I looked at each other and then back at my Dad, "Of course we will!"

Dad handed us the nerf guns and smirked at Josh, "Hey fuckface. As you know, Emma and I are fucking engaged. Now we got to plan a fucking wedding. So I got a fucking question to ask you. Will you be my fucking best man? Answer only with fucks."

"Fuck yeah!" Josh smirked back.

"Boys! Act like men please. There are children," Blue scolded them.

"Sorry," They muttered.

"Emerald," Mom smiled at her, "I would never dream of saying 'I do' without a pretty princess like you. Will you be our flower girl?"

"I would be delighted," Emerald smiled at her.

"And Blue," Mom smirked, "Fasten my necklace and bustle my dress. Pass me champagne if I seem a bit stressed. Watch for the groomsmen who get out of line and don't forget to sneak me some wine. Kick off your heels and work the dance floor. Spot any crashers? Show them the door. Tackle Cameron if he panics and flees, but most importantly, please help me pee. Will you be my matron of honor?"

"Hell yeah, I will be your matron of honor!" Blue yelled.

"Great! Now it's time to start planning!"
