Chapter 11-Young Love

It was Monday morning a little girl with dark blue long hair woke up for her morning routine she walks into the bathroom strip her clothes off and turned on the shower, washed her hair and body, then dried herself with a towel and changed into her school uniform. "Wendy time for breakfast," said her mother "Coming Mother" Wendy ran downstairs to the dining room to see her mother Grandeeney and her older brother Natsu "Good morning big brother" Wendy hugged the pink haired boy. Natsu hugged her back, and they both sat down for breakfast "Thank you for the food" they said as they started eating. Time as past as Natsu and Wendy were getting ready for school "Have a good day" said Grandeeney as she waved at them. While walking Wendy grabbed into her backpack "Wendy why are you digging into your bag" Natsu asked "I need to show you something" she said as grabbed a magazine and show it to him with a picture of Lucy on the cover "You see this right" Wendy smiled. "This week's Starlight Magazine want about it," Natsu asked once more "You mean? You haven't read it yet" Wendy replied "Why should I, you know I'm not a fan of Magazine and their crazy stories, most of them are made up," Natsu said. "Well not all of them the story of gaining a partner for the golden goddess model wasn't made up on was" Natsu made annoying expression like that as Wendy giggled "Besides you really should read this, it's about Lucy having a secret crush on her school" Wendy's words got Natsu's attention "Secret Crush?" Natsu grabbed the magazine and read the article "It has been a rumor that Lucy Star, the most famous model of all of Japan has a secret love for a boy in her school." Natsu and Wendy have made it to Wendy's school "So what do you think Natsu, do you know who the Secret crush is?" She asked, but Natsu didn't reply right away and just gave her back the Magazine. "I better head back before I'm late" Natsu patted her on the head "I'll see you later Okay" Wendy waved at him as he walked towards the high school as Wendy walked into the campus "That was weird?" she through back to Natsu expression. "The look on his face was surprising," said as the blush came to her cheeks "Hey Wendy" a young boy with dark greeted her "Oh Hey Romeo" she greeted back with a smile and the boy's cheeks turned red "Hi...you ready for class...I can walk you over...if that's what you want" Romeo stuttered "Sure we would have done that anyway and besides...." Wendy looked around and said everyone single boy looking at her "I don't like walking alone not with every boy staring at me like that" She stated as Romeo understands. "Shall we, My lady?" said Romeo with his arm out for her to grab and Wendy giggled, and the wrapped her arm around his and enter the school. The bells and everyone went to their homerooms "All right children time for roll call" said the white hair teacher named Mirajane but the kids call her Ms.Stress. Mirajane was calling the names of the kids while they were replying to her saying 'here' and the ones that didn't say are absent. "Alright class I want you to take out your books and turn to page 25 where we will learn mathematics terms of the square rate and Pi," Mirajane said as some of the kids opened their book to learn the lesson while others didn't care but open their books anyway. Wendy was always excited about a new learn lesson every day as an honor student, and a lot of kids look up to her and others are jealous of her. "Wendy is so cute and smart," said a boy "I know right hey why don't you ask out" another replied. "No way I can't do that, and besides, she got that overprotected brother of her" the kids around him sweatdropped, and then a ruler hit on the desk "No talking boys," Ms.Stress said with a creepy smile "Yes Mame" they replied in terror. A few hours went by, and the class was over for Lunch break Wendy and Romeo had their 'own' little table with other classmate named Cheila.

The three were having lunch together and talking until Cheila noticed a group of girls staring at her and she knows who they are "Don't look now, but it's the 'Flash girls,' man I hate those girls" Cheila stated. "Oh come on Cheila you don't mean that, " Wendy said "Yes I do, and the leader Shelby is the worst of them all" Cheila grinned. Romeo didn't bother with it. "Just forget about them Cheila do what I do just ignore" Romeo said as he noticed the three girls walking towards their table "Wendy Marvell I have a bone to pick with you" said the the girl know as Shelby who is a dirty blonde with half-pigtails in her hair and has browns eyes "Hi Shelby...it's Nice to see you" Wendy stuttered as Romeo and Cheila face-palm themselves "Wendy don't be nice to her did you forget that bullied you since the fifth grade" Cheila stated, and Romeo nodded his head in agreement "You better listen to your friend there" Shelby replied "But why? Shelby, what did I ever to you" Wendy asked "What you did? If you must know you took away something that was precious to me" Shelby said as Cheila stood up "Wendy didn't take anything from you" Shelby disagree. "Oh, but she did ever since the fifth grade" Romeo stood up this time "What are you talking about?" he asked "I'm talking about my glory and my population, she took it all from me" Shelby pointed at Wendy "But... I.I" the blue hair girl stuttered "Oh knock it off, it isn't Wendy fault that every boy in the school fondles over her you can't blame her for that because never asked for it" Cheila stood her ground to defeat Wendy. Shelby was annoyed to the truth but didn't take it "Oh please being cute, kind and gentle is just her scheme to lore boys into her nest" Shelby stated "That is not true, your the one that likes to have boys in your nest Miss. Queen of Mean" Cheila and Shelby started a glaring contest "Come on girls can't all get along" Wendy suggested. "She's right Shelby fighting is never the answer," said one of the girls in the flash girls group. "Tohka are you siding with them," Shelby asked the girl with curly locks in her hair "No I'm just saying that if you get in trouble, we could get suspended" Tohka explained to her and also reminded Shelby that she had her third strike. The lunch bell rings, Shelby and her group turned and walked away as everyone walked in the hallway to their next class. "I can't believe that girl," Cheila said "Blaming Wendy for the loss of her 'Population and Glory' I mean who does she think she is" the hot-pink hair girl stated. "I agree with you Cheila, Shelby is readily got boys falling for her. Stupid Boys are just that stupid boys" Romeo stated that Wendy blushes to the phrase "But weren't you the same way as those 'stupid boy' in the sixth grade when you had a crush on her" Cheila stated. "Well yeah I'll admit I did, but that little flick ended when I found out the truth that Shelby is someone who wants attention" Romeo replied, and they entered the classroom and went on with their next lesson. Wendy was thinking back to the time when she and Shelby first encounter each other in the fifth grade. Shelby was a center of attention with every boy liking her for the looks. "Wendy...Wendy", the call of her name, brought her sense, and she noticed that it was the teacher calling her. "Wendy do you mind reading the next paragraph." Mirajane smiled as Wendy stood up and read out loud the class. Everyone's surprise reaction is that even though she was daydreaming Wendy was still focusing on her work "and the sunset for the night and David went to sleep for the day" Wendy finished the paragraph and sat back down. "Well done Wendy" Mirajane said as the bell rang and she dismissed the kids for the day "Everyone have a nice I'll see you tomorrow" Mirajane waved to the kids as they left into the campus Where Wendy waits for her older brother to walk her home and she wouldn't mind waiting an hour. Romeo noticed her standing there alone every day and decided to hold with Wendy for the first time. He usually leaves her there, but this Romeo wants to stay with his crush and started a conversation.
