I'm in an elevator. That's all I can tell as I feel the hard walls around me and the loud sound of a large object being lifted higher and higher. Another clue of knowing I am in an elevator is the feeling of the ground beneath me being lifted very quickly making me stumble back, hitting my back on the wall.
I cannot see my surroundings as it is completely dark. The only light source is a red beam light on the corner of the ceiling that glows and then turns off every 2 seconds.
The ride starts to make me feel nauseous. So I put my arm around my stomach, holding it in. My instincts tell me it's been 15 minutes, more or less, inside this boring elevator. The elevator still lifting me higher, higher, faster, making me feel more sick. I clench my stomach tighter, forcing myself to hold it in.
But dizziness overwhelms me and then more nausea. My stomach growls and defeats my urge to hold it in. I begin to vomit all over the floor. 'Uh finally", I think. Then my vomit's stench fills the atmosphere making me cover my nose with my shirt. "How long is ride going to bloody take?", I ask myself.
Then, my mind makes me wonder how I even ended up in here. Not a single memory pops in my head. All I remember is me waking up in a dark atmosphere that occassionally shone a red glow every few seconds. Weird, I thought. But I know one thing's for certain, my name, Minho.
5 minutes later, I sense the elevator being lifted slower and slower until finally it came to a halt.
A large buzzer now echoed through the walls. I push my hands against my ears to block the sound of the annoying buzzer. Suddenly, it stopped. I begin to notice a straight line of bright line shine onto the floor which came from the opening ceiling. I look up and squeeze my eyes because of the burning light shining in my pupils.
I stare back onto the ground until my eyes have healed from the sun. I look back up and find the ceiling doors wide open, making me stand up. But that's not the only thing I see; 3 boys with their heads facing me, a look of amazement and shock on their faces.
One of them jumps down inside my elevator. A light skinned boy with blonds hair, two or three centimetres shorter than me. "Phewy, just couldn't hold your shuck puke in, could you", the boy says as he gives me a disgusted look. "Yeah, sorry", is all I simply say back to him, confused by his word choice of "shuck".
"Alright then, Alby! Help us out!" says the blonde guy. I look back up again and see a dark skinned boy slowly reach his arms down, offering to get me out of the elevator. I quickly reach my hand for his arm and he clowly pulled me up without the slightest sign of struggling.
As soon as I was out of the elevator, I immediatley realise the large masculine body of the boy who lifted me out of the elevator. It made me feel puny and small next to him. Ironic, for me to think that, considering the boy and I were the same height.
Then I instantly turned around to take a look at my surroundings.
Green grass everywhere, a fence around pigs and sheep keeping them captive located in the corner to the left and a large wooden house placed far away in front of the animals. Well, it looked more like a barn. But the main thing that caught my attention is the large high concreted walls, impossible to climb, surrounding the whole space.
What makes me wonder was what was beyong the situated walls. Nowhere to go, except wander through this massive squared shape of land.
"What is this this place?", I ask. "Welcome to the Glade", says the dark sinned boy.
