This week had been one of the most stressful ones I’ve had in a long time, but with the help of my best friend Kristen, it would be worth it! You see my best friend happens to be the Kristen Stewart, the one from Snow White and the Huntsman, Twilight, etc. We have known each other forever it seems, we connected before she became famous, before she became a star we got to see each other a lot; but since then she has been more unavailable. Today though she called me and wanted to plan a girls night out like we used to do, I couldn’t wait!
I had taken hours to prepare my outfit, my makeup, and my hair. By the time all my prep was done it was around dinner time, so I grabbed a quick snack, turned on the TV and waited for a call from Kristen. About an hour had passed when my phone rang; “Hey Emily It’s me, are you ready for tonight?” Kristen’s voice came through the speaker, “I am so ready, you have no idea how much I need this, it is going to be so awesome!” I hear her laugh, “well just so you know we are about to be on our way, so you have a little more time to get ready, I’ll see you then ok?” I smiled and replied, “awesome I can’t wait see you then girl” we both said our goodbyes and hung up.
I finished getting ready when I hear the doorbell ring, putting my stuff back I make my way to the door, opening it to see Kristen, I let out a squeal and hug her tightly, she laughs and hugs me back harder. “I’ve missed you so much, we have so much to catch up on!” she says, “I know, you big movie star!” I laugh and grab my back heading out the door locking it and heading to her car, I slide into the passenger seat of the black mini cooper. Kristen got into the drivers seat and we were off to paint the town red, we hit up the malls shopping, we pretty much raided Hot Topic , ate at our favorite restaurant Olive Garden, and then came back to my house to watch some movies.
It had gotten late so I made up the guest room and Kristen stayed the night, promising to leave early in the morning for a shoot she had to be at. We both were so tired after it tonight we passed out on the couch, we didn’t even make it to our rooms, but let me tell it was one of the best nights of my life; and we are going to have more of them in the future. The next morning before Kristen left she gave me a giant hug and we promised not to become so distant again she was going to call and text me more and we were going to plan more girls’ nights for the future.
