SUBMISSIONS (OPEN)

Submissions are open until September 7th, 2018

to enter BTS WATTY AWARDS please direct message and/or email this account your story.

It must be completed.

RULES

Your story can be mature, but please do not let them have extremely detailed smut scenes.

Your story can be any length up until 50 chapters, but must be completed.

You must enter before the deadline or your submission will be ignored and disqualified.

You are absolutely NOT allowed to PLAGIARIZE your story.  During the selection week (sep8-14) Admin WILL be reviewing and making sure your story is no a copy of another from another author, site, or novel.

Please do not enter your story if you have chapters with a word count over 2,ooo.

(2,000 words are find if your number of chapters does not exceed 30, we will not read any story that goes over this limit.  With the number of books we have to read and review over, a long and time exhausting book will be a hassle to the admin.)

Please do not enter until you have an exact word count for your book, it must not be over  60,000 words.

Q &  A

q- Can my story have references from other shows and franchises?

a- you may use them as long as you disclaim them  before and after the chapter.

q- Am I allowed to enter more than two stories?

a- You can always do that.  But one story won't get two prizes. 

q- Can I have an unedited book?

a- The judging is based on plot and writing. If a story is poorly written but has an amazing plot, it honestly will barely brush by into the third round of elimination.  Most times it won't win but it's up to you.  Small punctuation mistakes won't be taken seriously and won't really count as crucial.   We look at your spelling out of all things and expect you know simple grammar

q- Does my story need a lot of reads?

a- No it doesn't.  You can enter a story with zero attention (no reads, stars, or comments) and you'll still have the same chance of winning as one with a million. 

q- Do graphics count?

a- If your media is sexual and shouldn't be displayed for people under 13.  It will be disqualified from the second round.   We don't care about covers, titles, or visual media (character styles, room dynamics, etc.)

JUDGING

There will be three total rounds your submission will go through after September 7th.

8th - 9th Admin will be checking media and word/chapter count

10th - 11th Admin will read your story and review your (only simple grammar we don't need you to know the Oxford comma, just the three there's) grammar and spelling

12th - 13th Admin will review and check for plagiarism and choose our winners

14th results will be posted as well as the stickers

First place will get the first place sticker for the 2nd/ Sep semester

Second place will get the second place sticker for the 2nd/ Sep semester

Third place will get the third place sticker for the 2nd/ Sep semester

THIRD PLACE

this book is judged differently than 1st and 2nd. 3rd place is a story chosen by Admin, without the author entering the Watty's
This book does not follow the guidelines and will most likely be put into our 2018 Fall Picks instead of Watty Winners. We still give them this prize because of the excellence
