There was once a girl
a very privileged girl.
She was pampered with luxuries
since the day of her birth.
She didn't know poverty,
hunger, or bullying.
Nurtured and loved,
she was oblivious to adversity.
She blossomed in a perfect world,
where the sun always shined.
Even on the rainy days
she had a reason to smile.
Perhaps too perfect,
was the world that encompassed her.
For it was only a mask,
of the imperfections that would crush her.
