"Liz, I know i'm dying..." The Austrian muttered to the brunette sitting beside him. Last year he found out he had a tumor, and he only had a while to live. Elizabetha held the bars of the snow white hospital bed, tears staining her porcelain face. "D-don't say that, Roderick..." She stuttered, staring at his dull, colorless face. He smiled at her. "Promise me you'll stay this brave when i'm gone..." He muttered, his voice raspy. Elizabetha stared at him speechless, her wedding ring the only thing bright in the room. He was made take his off, just after his final surgery. "Look..." He began, closing his eyes. "I haven't been completely honest with you." He said, tiredly. She listened carefully to him, nodding. Roderick cleared his throat, looking at her. "I- i'm..." He looked down. "Oh, just look under the covers." Elizabetha stared at him, before slowly peeling back the covers. There, cuddled up beside her husband, was a sleeping albino man, completely naked. "I don't love you anymore. I'm in love with Gilb-" He stopped, and the only sound that could be heard in the room was one long, continuous note of "Beeeeeeep..."
