I got my velvet, sparkly dress and threw it on with a pair of matching velvet heels. I looked in the mirror and said to myself

"Do I really need to impress him? Well, of course, It's Zac!"  I got my bag and my phone and headed outside to find Zac in a 64 Mustang! I looked at him in shock and surprise.

"I thought you might wanna ride!" Zac assumed as he revved the engine. "You look lovely tonight!" He continued.

"You didn't have to do this!" I yelled over the sound of the sweet engine roars of the Mustang.

"Well too bad! I'm here now!" He yells followed with an askew smile as the car doors opened. He signaled for me to get in the car. I get in and the first thing I noticed is his outfit and his eyes. His suit was very attracting to the eye. His eyes, those ocean blue eyes. Zac noticed I was staring into his eyes and cleared his throat and revved the engine. That was enough to take me out of the gaze. I concentrated on the road blushing hard.

"Are you ready to go yet?" He looked at me concerned.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go." I replied and mouthed the words 'sorry'.

[WHEN THEY ARRIVE]

We both got out the car and walked up to see if we could get a seat. It was a cute but large cafe called The Griddle Cafe. It looked beautiful! I loved the decorations and the lights. We got a cute little table for two right in the corner where a large window was so we could see the view. I still couldn't believe that this was happening. We both sat down.

"I'm sorry I didn't help you earlier. Ya know, with the furniture." I tried to begin a conversation.

"Nah don't worry about it. That's what delivery men are for! Well, they helped me because and I quote I'm a 'VIP'.  " He explained.

"Well, you are!" I reassured letting out a little laugh.

"Would you like a drink to start off?" A waitress asked smiling and comforting.

"Could I get a coffee, please? Thank you." I asked, anxious to get warmed up.

"Make that two coffees, please!" Zac interrupts.

We talked for like 10 minutes before our drinks came.

"What was your reaction when you found out that Hugh had Skin Cancer? I'm sorry if that's a bit... ya know--"

"No, it's ok umm...it was a bit scary, to be honest. Very shocking too. He's a great guy ya know. We were friends a few years before the making of The Greatest Showman." He began.

"I bet it was heartbreaking. He sings like an angel. All of you do!" I state.

"Well, the song 'From Now On' was a really powerful song for him and for all of us too. We had a backup singer cover for him considering the doctors said that he wasn't allowed to sing for a while, but not even a minute in he starts singing. It was a beautiful moment and we all enjoyed it, crying in happiness. We were so proud of him. We ARE so proud of him." He continues.

"I bet you are." We both seemed sad at this point. I could tell by the 'memories are coming back' expression.

"I'm sorry I-I shouldn't have said anything about it." I apologized.

"Don't worry It's fine. You asked me a question so I gave an answer" He returned with a weak grin. I reached my hand in slowly and lightly held his.

"It's not fine. It was sad. Let's just talk about something else." I tried to convinced him everything was fine. It was! Hugh didn't have Skin Cancer anymore. Zac looked down at my hand and his eyes glistened when he saw we were holding hands.

"I wanna know more about you! That's why I invited you, isn't it? ;)" He tried to throw the light back on to avoid the thought of his sad past. I took another sip of my warm coffee before I began. Just as I started talking to him, small snowflakes started falling and landing on the bushes outside creating a thin coat of white glistening icing.

"Beautiful isn't it? Zac questioned me smiling.

"It is. I love the snow! It's gorgeous." I replied excitedly.

"Like you..." He whispered hiding his mouth so I couldn't know what he said.

"*giggles* I heard that!" I snapped back giggling.

"Damn!" Zac laughed. His laugh was so subtle but I fell in love with it. Just like his personality. We watched the moon rise and the snow sparkle as it fell, I could see Zac edge his chair slowly towards me.

"Looks like a bad day to be wearing a dress huh?" I stated jokingly. Zac takes his jacket off the back of his chair and wraps it around me.

"But It's a good thing I brought this with me." He continued my sentence. A cute smile beaming from his eyes. I turned around to face him and I noticed his eyes get bluer. I couldn't look away. I could feel him moving in closer. I started blushing more and more to the point where Zac notices.

"Are you ok?" He asked concerned about the redness of my cheeks. I quickly look away and respond nervously with:

"Yeah uhh, I'm fine."  I could hear him scoff, I knew he figured out I liked him.

"We should get going. Could I stay at your house tonight?" Zac asked. I could tell he wanted me to say 'sure'. So that's exactly what I said. We paid for the drinks and left. We got into his Mustang and drove back to my house. When we got in I told him to make himself at home and I'll make him a cuppa. He sat down on the couch waiting for me.

"I like your house." He complimented.

"Thank you! I bet your house will look amazing once all the furniture is put in place." I respond, carrying both of our cup of teas. I set his down on the coffee table. His mug had a picture of The Greatest Showman crew on it.

"I never thought I would meet someone from the film and give them tea in this mug! Yeah, I might be a little obsessed with this film!" I began with a nervous chuckle. He giggled and took a sip.

"Mmmh! I need your tea more often." Zac complemented, taking more bigger sips.

"I take your fond of it then!" I laughed, he joined in and replied:

"Yeah! I'm fond of you too." He never failed to make me smile. Every time he spoke I felt closer and closer to him. It felt like love. I was in love with him before I met him anyway but now he's here... he's so much hotter in person.

He took a seat next to me, still enjoying his cuppa.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked. A little uncomfortable. I never know how to please my guests let alone celebrities!

"The Greatest Showman?" Zac suggested, smiling and giving me a look like 'I know you want to watch it'.

"You know me already." I giggled. I put the disk in and we both sang the beginning song. I stopped a few seconds after Zac started singing and looked at him amazed. His voice was so clean and crisp.

"This is the greatest show- why'd you stop singing?" Zac noticed.

"You're amazing! Just like in the film!" I complimented. I could see his cheeks blush slightly. I join back in with him. We sat back relaxed and watched the film.
