(Courtney's POV)
I see the dark rain clouds closing in. I'm sitting outside on the porch of the house I share with Shayne, Damian, Boze, Liv, Noah and Keith. I haven dances in the rain in ages, I've just been waiting for this day. As the cloud gets closer, my phone beeps:
Group chat: roomiieeesss
B: hey has everyone closed there windows it's about to rain?!
D: yeah
L: yeh
Me: I think so, I'm outside at the moment soooo
S: What are you doing outside you'll catch a cold!
Me: it's about to rain that's why.....I shut off my phone and sigh. Ever since I broke up with my boyfriend I haven been able to dance in the rain. He said it was weird so I stopped, I just haven been myself recently. Shayne cares about me, but I'd rather dance in the rain. Yeah I like him, but he doesn't need to know that. As the rain starts to fall a smile etches it's way across my face. I take off my shoes and wonder into the middle of the yard. It starts to pour harder, that when I start to dance.
(Shaynes POV)
Courtney had been acting weird lately and I'm worried. I really like her, and if something happens to her I'd be devastated. The rain has started and Courtney still hasn't come inside. I look out my window and see someone on the lawn, dancing in the rain. I recognise that someone immediately and race down the stairs, not bothering about shoes. "Guys! Courtney's dancing in the rain!" I yell as i hurry down the stairs. "LEAVE HER BE!" I heard Olivia yell, I still go outside the door and stand on the porch. She spots me and comes running over to me. "Come on Shayne, dance with me!" She giggles before she pulls me into the rain. I'm instantly soaked, but then I see the look on Courtney's face. It's just pure content. I grab her arm and twirl her around sending her into a fit of giggles. We dance like that for maybe hours. By the end we were soaked, and as the rain dies to a trickle, I looked at those green eyes and feel for her even more. She looks back at me and smiles. Before I could say anything she crashes her lips into mine. We pull away, and I see her smiling. "Thanks for dancing with me." She whispers, pulling me into a hug. "You're welcome Court. What was that kiss about?" I ask, holding my breath waiting for the response I want. "I really like you Shayne, like really like you." She confesses. My eyes go wide before a smile creeps onto my face. "I like you too court." I plant a small peck on her cheek before she takes my hand. "Before we do anything else, can we get dry. I'm cold as fuq." I chuckle as I grab her arm and pull her to the porch. The opens revealing Olivia with everyone else around her smiling. They hand us towels and make us dry before we enter the house. After we get changed and cuddle up on the couch, a though pops to my head. I wonder when it will rain again.
