I was cold...and the wind was full of dust from the bombs. My mother left me and my father died in the war, I had basically no hope. I saw something in the clouds of dust, or someone..hopefully not a mutant of some sort. As it approached, I saw a lady, with white hair and a business suit. The lady seemed to have a kind personality, I could tell by the way she looked. The lady bent down on one knee to talk to me..."Hello, what's your name?" She asked "I'm Marshall Lee." I said with a smile "What a nice name, I'm Simone Petrikov." The lady said kindly with a smile. I suddenly felt comfort, she was like the mother that I never really had and I knew it in just a few minutes, all the hurt I had in the past started to melt away.
"Come with me, Marshall, it's all okay now." Simone said, I guess she noticed I was still fearful. I couldn't stop coughing, I didn't know what was wrong, but it didn't seem to be bad, because Simone told me it was okay. We went into a store with broken windows and wrecked shelves to find she chicken soup, but what we found was a mutant. Simone reached for a crown she had on her belt and put it on her head. Her hair and eyebrows became longer and she flew into the air. Ice came out of her hands and she spoke with a voice that wasn't like the kind one I heard at first. The mutant was destroyed and Simone landed back on the ground. She took the crown off of her head and looked at me. She saw the fear on my face..."What's wrong Marshall?" She asked "It's what you did, it bothers me, you where acting crazy." I could tell my voice was shaking. "What did I do?" She asked, I definitly knew something was wrong then.
We walked out of the store together with a can of chicken soup, Simone made it for me and when I ate it, I actually began to feel better, or maybe it was just in my head. Simone stuck me in a car that was in the alley way. The seats where cold but Simone hugging me made be feel safe and warm. Something came from around the corner of the alley, it was another mutant, which was followed by many more mutants. "Marshall, I have to put the crown on..or else I can't save you." Simone said "Please don't Simone! I don't want you to, no more!" I yelled. She grabbed the crown anyway "Just this one last time, Marsh, I promise." She said. She grabbed the crown off her belt again and put it on. The way she looked was even more nuts than before, her hair was longer and she had pointed teeth. After the small battle was over she floated to the ground. I knocked the crown off her head. "You have to stop that Simone, that crown makes you crazy." I said "It does?" Simone asked. "How do you not know?" I asked her, my eyes began to tear up...I was losing someone...to a stupid crown.
