Bullet Train (超特急 Choutokkyuu) is a Japanese boyband formed on December 25, 2011 under Stardust Promotion.
The group consists of "main dancers" and "back vocalists", meaning that the vocalists stand behind the dancers during the band's performances. This concept is the first of its kind to be introduced.
Bullet Train has been likened to Momoiro Clover Z, a girl group managed by the same talent agency.
The group is also described as "Non-idols" (非アイドル Hi Aidoru).
Consisting of 5 main dancers, the center among the dancers changes for each single. The dancers are Kai, Ryoga, Takuya, Yuuki and Yuusuke, while the vocalists is Takashi. (As of 2018, Koichi (vocalist) had withdrawn from the group)
Choutokkyuu fans called as 8号車/8gousha (hachi gousha/No.8). Fans color is pink.
