For the next few weeks everything was a mystery to me. I couldn't trust anyone. I was even questioning my friendship with Melanie now. I can't take all of this at once, it's too much.

Tommy is doing ok for as good as a three year old with stomach cancer can be. He's making me visit only every other day because he doesn't want us to spend everyday in the hospital. He's his regular happy self.

Alex is so worried about me. I haven't explained to her why Louis isn't living with us anymore yet. Last week I promised myself I would do it tonight and I'm really nervous about it. I have no idea how things are going to end up.

The only people I've been talking to are Melanie, Tommy, Alex, and Harry. Melanie got out of the hospital two months ago and Harry is sleeping in the spare room there to help her with the wheelchair/crutches and everything. They're cute together, not gonna lie.

Harry's been an amazing friend to me and an amazing boyfriend to Melanie this past time. Melanie calls him my 'substatute boyfriend' which is really strange. He takes it quite seriously. He also takes Mel, Alex, and I out for dinner once a week so we get out of the house. He's also kind of been like our father which is just plain weird.

Tommy tells me that Louis visits him on the days I'm not there. I haven't talked to Louis at all since what happened. It seems like yesterday Niall told me but it was almost three months ago. Louis tries to reach me constantly but I put everything on ignore so I can't receive them.

There's a knock on the door while I'm washing dishes. "Alex? Can you get that please?" I call out.

"Yeah!" Alex squeals. I hear her feet run across the room then the door swing open. "Uncle Niall!"

"Hey munchkin!" The Irish voice chirps. I glance over my shoulder. Sure enough, Niall was standing at the door holding a container of something. His hair was swept to the side, not in a quiff like normal. He was wearing a plain white top, dark red cardigan, jeans, and converse.

"What are you doing here Horan?" I ask and turn around.

"Wanted to see you." Niall shrugs while closing the door. "You haven't been around at all, not since what happened that I've heard about."

"Well, Louis is your best friend and he's always around you guys. I can't face him." I shake my head.

"Melanie and Harry are the only ones that talks to you anymore. We're all worried." Niall frowns as he walks over to me, hauling Alex on his left leg.

"Don't know why you would be worried." I reply.

"I thought you wanted to be with all of us and have a good time." Niall says.

"Being together sounded good, but plans change, and people change." I sigh. "I can't keep up with it. What did you bring Blondie?"

"What's with all these nicknames?" Niall chuckles.

"They're not nicknames, Horan is your last name and blonde is the color of you hair which translates to Blondie." I explain. He laughs loudly.

"They're cookies." He hands me the container.

"I WANT ONE!" Alex screams.

"What are you really doing here?" I ask, tossing the clear little box onto the counter.

"I already told you." Niall answers.

"Yeah right." I scoff. "Did Louis send you?"

"Course not." Niall tells me. "How are you doing?"

"You mean besides the depression?" I think to myself.

"Alright, I guess." I respond.

"How many times have you left the house this week?" Niall asks.
