Tati's POV (Our Performance)
"Hey guys," I said getting on stage with Alexis holding our mics. "We've prepared three songs for you today."
"Our first selection is called Hard to Breathe," said Alexis. "We do hope you enjoy it."
Todd played the music. "Feel the adrenaline, my hearts beating. I need a doctor 'cause I'm getting sick of love," I sang as we started dancing. "I'm running short of breathe with every step. In need of oxygen to run away from this."
"I face the demons that take me to hell and back. I'm getting heart attacks. Took me a heart attack," sang Alexis. "I'm counting on you 'cause I need you here to save me if my heart fails."
"How am I suppose to breathe? When all my heart does is bleed. You're too stupid to see," we sang as we interacted with the audience. "You're making it hard for me. How am I suppose to breathe?" I saw Tom and smiled. "When you're too stupid to see, what you're doing to me. You're making it hard to breathe. You're making it hard to breathe."
"It isn't that hard to see. My chest is caving in. Someone help me," sang Alexis. "I need some life support. Can't take this anymore."
'Loving with caution 'cause my hearts so weak. I been a victim of love and you're the criminal," I sang as I pointed at the crowd. "I counted on you but you refused to save me. If my heart fails..."
"How am I suppose to breathe? When all my heart does is bleed. You're too stupid to see. You're making it hard for me," we sang. "How am I suppose to breathe? When you're too stupid to see, what you're doing to me. You're making it hard to breathe. You're making it hard to breathe."
"It isn't that hard to see. Love is blind but I can't see a place for you and me," I sang as I interacted with the front row. "I can't go on without you baby!"
The tempo slowed down. "How am I suppose to breathe? When all my heart does is bleed," Alexis sang softly. "You're too stupid to see. You're making it hard for me. How am I suppose to breathe?" She waved at the fans. "When you're too stupid to see, what you're doing to me. You're making it hard to breathe."
The tempo sped up. "How am I suppose to breathe? When all my heart does is bleed," we sang. "You're too stupid to see. You're making it hard for me. So hard to breathe." The music faded out.
The audience cheered and we smiled. "Our next selection is Home," I said. "We hope you can relate to it."
The music started. "I crashed straight from heaven to your hell. And I know that you're no angel," sang Alexis. "You're broken and battered but I fell 'cause your scars, they make me feel I'm not alone."
"Ah, ah, ah... I'd rather be in the dark with you. Ah, ah, ah... Than in a lonely light," I sang. "Ah, ah, ah... I'm not afraid I'm in love with you. Ah, ah, ah...yeah."
We started dancing. "'Cause I need to feel you now. I need to hear your sound. I don't care that you bring me so low 'cause all that I know is you feel like home, yeah," we sang. "I need to breathe you now. I need release somehow. I'm wrapped up in your skin and your bones. And all that I know is you feel like home, yeah."
"You're strangely familiar and comfortable. I'm not alone. When I'm laying in your arms I feel alive," I sang. "I never knew that it was you. You're such a beautiful disaster."
"Ah, ah, ah... I'd rather be in the dark with you," sang Alexis. "Ah, ah, ah... Than in a lonely light."
"'Cause I need to feel you now. I need to hear your sound. I don't care that you bring me so low 'cause all that I know is you feel like home, yeah," we sang as we interacted with the front row. "I need to breathe you now. I need release somehow. I'm wrapped up in your skin and your bones. And all that I know is you feel like home, yeah."
"Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!" I sang. "I said all that I know is you feel like home, yeah!"
"I need to feel you now. I need to hear your sound," Alexis slowed down. "Don't care that you bring me so low 'cause all that I know is you feel like home."
The tempo sped up. "'Cause I need to feel you now. I need to hear your sound. I don't care that you bring me so low 'cause all that I know is you feel like home, yeah," we sang as Alexis and I danced. "I need to breathe you now. I need release somehow. I'm wrapped up in your skin and your bones. And all that I know is you feel like home, yeah."
"Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!" sang Alexis. "I said all that I know is you feel like home, yeah!"
The song ended when a few chords and the audience screamed. "Thank for for such an amazing performance," I said.
Drew's POV
"One more song and we're up next," I said watching from the side of the stage. "I gotta hand it to you though. They did this on their own."
"Their good at what they do so mind as well let them have it," said Blake. "Maybe they'll wanna tell their stories someday."
"That's not such a bad idea," said Jayk. "Let our fans know that their not alone."
"We'll talk to them about it after all of this," I said.
"Our next song is Let It Slide," said Alexis. "But don't let anything slide, please."
"You'll regret it," said Tatiyana. "But here's our song."
"Let It Slide, ladies and gets," said Alexis.
The music started playing. Alexis and Tatiyana started doing a cute little dance. "I gave you an inch and you take a mile. We make mistakes that erase when you smile," sang Tatiyana. "I'm starting to feel like it ain't right. How can you care if I don't cross your mind? 'Cause I..."
"Say you wanna talk but you just push me away. Tell me you're leaving when I want you to stay. Never thought that loving you would hurt me this way. But I'm the only one to blame 'cause I'm always saying it's okay, it's alright. I put the pain away and let it slide," they sang. "I forgive and forget it. Then you promise me I won't regret it. But I do. It's not right. Because I turn around and let it slide. Am I crazy for thinking that someday you'll change things when you keep on crossing the line?"
"Something about you won't let me go," sang Alexis. "Maybe it's fear of being alone." She got Jayk, Blake, and Devin onstage. "I keep saying I'm gonna move on. But it's so hard when you're all that I know. But I..."
"Say you wanna talk but you just push me away. Tell me you're leaving when I want you to stay. Never thought that loving you would hurt me this way," sang the girls. "But I'm the only one to blame 'cause I'm always saying it's okay, it's alright. I put the pain away and let it slide. I forgive and forget it. Then you promise me I won't regret it. But I do. It's not right. Because I turn around and let it slide." Tatiyana got TC and I onstage. "Am I crazy for thinking that someday you'll change things when you keep on crossing the line?"
'Boy, I wish I didn't give in so easily. Oh, I don't know what to do," sang Alexis. "'Cause I keep on feeding the flame. When I should really be telling you we're through. Oh!"
"It's okay, it's alright. I put the pain away and let it slide. I forgive and forget it. Then you promise me I won't regret it. But I do. It's not right," we sang with the girls. "Because I turn around and let it slide. Am I crazy for thinking that someday you'll change things when you keep on crossing the line?" The song faded out.
"Oh, yeah," I harmonized.
The audience cheered. "Without further ado, here's After Romeo," said Tatiyana.
The girls got off stage and handed Todd their mics. "Let's give another round of applause to Tatiyana and Alexis," I said. They waved to the crowd. "We're going to start of with Thirsty and go right into Pass On You."
