Auditions and The Twins Fight

Blue's P.O.V

I held Emerald resume and my own. Emerald was currently in the bathroom while I waited out in the hallway with everyone who was auditioning for Les Miserables on Broadway. Josh walked up to me along with Cameron by his side. Liam and Theo were with a group of boys just talking and laughing.

"You ready for this audition?" Cameron asked me.

"Nope. Not really," I laughed softly.

"Well you should be soon, cause auditions start in like 15 minutes," Josh chuckled.

Emerald ran up to me and asked, "I didn't get called, right?"

"No. Don't worry, are you nervous?" Josh asked her.

"A little bit," Emerald sighed.

"Don't be Emerald. You are a great singer and a great actress too," Josh smiled at her as he gave her a hug.

I smiled softly at the picture I saw in front of me. Josh was so great with Emerald, he would be a great father for her.

"May I have everyone's attention?" A woman with a clipboard asked, "We would like to see all the young girls first. So number one, please follow me."

Eleanor smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up before following the woman. Time passed and soon it was my turn. I followed the woman into a room with two other people. I handed the woman my resume and smiled at her. I walked to the center of the room and smiled softly.

"Hello. My name is Blue Ortiz and I will be singing Memories from Cats," I nodded softly.

I sang with full passion and made sure my facial emotion was watching how the character is supposed to feel. At the end of my performance, one of the cast directors spoke up.

"I have seen you in concert and this was nothing like your concert. It was amazing," The man smiled.

"Thank you," I nodded.

Josh's P.O.V

A month later

Blue, Cameron, Emerald, Liam, Theo and I were all sitting together in a corner at our callback. Emerald, Liam, and Theo have already had their callback and now Blue, Cameron and I were just waiting for ours. Our names were called soon and we all walked inside the room where the casting people were.

"Hello Everyone. I hope you all came prepared to sing Every day," The casting director smiled, "The first pair I'd like to see together would be Blue and Cameron."

Blue smiled at Cameron as they stood in the center of the room. Now Blue has to fall in 'love' with her best friend's fiancé. Cameron and Blue had really great chemistry together when they sang but I don't know if Blue and I have enough chemistry to top that performance.

"Now I'd like to see Blue and Josh."

I took a deep breath and smiled at Blue. She smiled back at me and we began our song.

Liam's P.O.V

A month later

Mom, Dad, Blue, Josh, Emerald, Theo, Theo's mom Amelia and I all sat around phones, just waiting. I, of course, was sitting upside down and Emerald kept poking my stomach.

"Stop it," I snapped.

"Fight me," Emerald smirked.

"I will," I snapped louder.

"Liam! Emerald! Knock it off," Mom yelled as she stood up and walked into the kitchen.

Blue followed her and the room went silent. Theo kicked his legs a little bit and it started sliding me down the couch. One of the phones began to ring and everyone's eyes snapped to their phone.

"Blue! It's your phone!" Josh yelled.

Mom and Blue ran into the room as Blue snatched her phone off the table, "Hello? I'll go get her."

She put a finger to her lips to signal everyone to be quiet, "I have you on speaker, sir."

"Emerald? Can you hear me?" The man on the other line asked.

"Loud and clear," She smiled.

"What if I were to tell you that you were cast as Young Cosette in Les Miserables on Broadway?" He asked.

"I got the part?!" Emerald yelled.

"You got the part!" The man smiled, "We will email rehearsals out later tonight. Goodbye!"

"Thank you and goodbye!" She giggled.

Blue hung up the phone and Emerald leaped into her arms. Blue laughed as she pulled Emerald to her chest. Just then another phone rang. Josh picked it up and put it on speaker.

"Hello, is this Joshua Colley?" The woman's voice asked on the other line.

"This is he," He nodded.

"Congratulations. You have just been cast as Jean Valjean. I hope you have a wonderful day," The voice finished up.

"Thank you! Goodbye!" Josh smiled excitedly as he hung up the phone, "That means Emerald and I will get to share some scenes together."

"Yay!" Emerald giggled as another phone rang.

Theo's mom picked up the phone and put it on speaker.

"Hi, is this Theodore Jensen?" The male voice asked.

"Yes, this is he," Theo nodded.

"Congratulations. You were just cast as Gavroche. I hope you have an amazing day!" The voice cheerfully said.

Theo's mother hung up the call and Emerald ran and hugged Theo, "We get to work together!"

Just then, another phone rang. Dad picked it up and put it on speaker.

"Hello, can I speak to both Cameron Colley and Liam Colley?" The woman's voice asked.

"You are," I smiled.

"Congratulations Liam. You were cast as Gavroche. And Cameron. Congratulations. You were cast as Marius," The woman explained.

Dad hung up the phone and Josh chuckled, "Whoever is Cosette is a lucky girl. To kiss you and not me."

"What happens if you start to like this girl that I have to kiss, you won't be jelly?" Dad smirked.

"Not one bit," Josh laughed.

Just then, Blue's phone rang once more. She picked it up and put it on speaker.

"Am I speaking to Blue Ortiz?" The woman's voice asked.

"This is she," Blue agreed.

"Congratulations Blue," The woman started, "You have been cast as Cosette. Have a wonderful day!"

Blue hung up the phone and she looked at Dad who was already looking at her.

"And Uncle Cameron called it," Emerald snickered.

"Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't," Josh shrugged.

"They get married in the musical," Emerald smirked.

"Stop it," Josh muttered.

"So you admit, you are jealous?" Emerald continued.

"I'm jealous that he gets to kiss Blue. I'm not jealous of his part," Josh shrugged.

"And what's that supposed to me?" Dad shot at Josh.

"That you aren't good enough," Josh shot back.

The room went quiet. Theo and Theo's mother excused themselves for the night and it was only us six left.

"Oh really. Didn't you ever think it's because Blue's and my chemistry is stronger than your's and Blue's?" Dad yelled at Josh.

"Well if you think that your chemistry together is so strong why don't you go fuck her?!" Josh yelled back, his face becoming red.

"Joshua Robert Colley! That is enough. You need to leave," Mom yelled," Right now!"

Josh nodded. He grabbed his stuff and said goodbye quietly and walked out. Blue decided to also leave. She grabbed her stuff along with Emerald's and made their way over to their apartment.
